As Jaya Bachchan turned 70, the actress had an intimate celebration with close family and friends at designer duo Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla's residence on Monday night. The actress is known to be close to the designer duo whom she calls her brothers.
The celebration had Amitabh Bahchcan, Shweta Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan in attendance along with Amrita Singh who came with her daughter Sara Ali Khan, Karan and Hiroo Johar, Sonam and Rhea Kapoor and Sonali Bendre with husband Goldie Behl.
The actress was wished by husband Amitabh Bachchan in a special post which read as, "At the stroke of the midnight hour, the greetings, wishes, calls and the feeding of sweetmeats the gifting of love and togetherness and the welcoming of the lady on her 70th. She be a wife and a mother and she be with her 'progress report'. Feelings and love delivered. Writings of occasion handwritten on card, the gratitude of the special day and spending the time with all about, reminiscing. Quiet, still and intimate. The best way to bring in a remembrance and the passage of time over the year gone by."
