Shahid Kapoor and wife Mira turn showstoppers for Anita Dongre on Day 1 of Lakme Fashion Week, see pics

They looked nothing short of a royalty. Firmly holding each other's hands, Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira walked the ramp for designer Anita Dongre on the first day of Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai on Tuesday night. Dressed in a cream ensemble, Shahid looked dapper while his wife Mira looked pristine in a cream and floral print lehenga-choli from Dongre's latest collection.

The couple looked fondly at each other, smiled and shared jokes while the crowd cheered them on.

While most eyes were set on the showstoppers of the night, the front row of the show was also star studded with actors like Shriya Saran, Shamita Shetty, Yami Gautam and Sangeeta Bijlani. Mira Kapoor's mother was also seated in the front row.

Shahid, who has been earning accolades for his performance in the recently released Padmaavat, shared a few photos of him and his wife from the night on his Instagram page as well.
