Ranveer Singh's film on Indian cricket world cup titled '83' and Vin Diesels' next titled 'Fast & Furious 9' will release on the same date -- April 10, 2020. Deepika has romanced both stars in films.
In what could be the clash of the year in 2020, Indian star Ranveer Singh is set to have a film release on the same date as Hollywood star Vin Diesel. If you haven’t noticed already, both the actors are very good friends with Deepika Padukone and have also romanced her in separate films.
In a tweet shared by trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Ranveer Singh and Vin Diesel will have a box-office clash with their respective films. The tweet reads: “It's Ranveer Singh versus Vin Diesel... The makers of #1983, starring Ranveer and directed by Kabir Khan, have just announced the release date [10 April 2020]... Well, Vin Diesel's #FastAndFurious9 is also releasing on 10 April 2020 in India... Interesting clash!”
Although, the two actors have never really met in public but they have mentioned each other’s names with respect to their leading lady. In one instance, it was reported that Vin Diesel mentioned Ranveer as Deepika’s boyfriend. Also, there is news that Deepika and Ranveer willtie the knot this year as they reportedly got engaged in Sri Lanka on Deepika’s last birthday in a secret ceremony with only their parents in attendance.
On Deepika and Vin's romance, Deepika in one instance at The Ellen DeGeneres Show even joked about dreaming to have Vin Diesel’s babies which was not taken very well by her fans.
Meanwhile, on their films, Ranveer Singh will be seen portraying the role of former Indian cricket captain Kapil Dev who led the Indian side to raise the world cup trophy as the best team in '83. The Reliance Entertainment movie is being directed by Kabir Khan. It follows the story of how newly-appointed captain Kapil Dev, the Indian cricket team defeated West Indies in the final of the World Cup in 1983.
