J&K: Three encounters underway, 3 terrorist killed, several trapped in Chadoora & Noorbagh

Three simultaneous encounters are underway between terrorists and security personnel in several areas of Jammu and Kashmir. The encounters have been reported from Dooru Shahabad in Anantnag district, Noorbagh in Srinagar city, and Chadoora in Budgam district.
One terrorist has been killed in the encounter in Dooru and the search operation is currently underway. Reports inform that the firing has stopped.
Security forces have gunned down two terrorists in the Budgam encounter; a search operation underway, news agency ANI reported.
The gunfight began after the security forces received inputs about the presence of militants, following which they launched a search and cordon operation.

In a separate incident, an encounter between security forces and terrorists broke out in Noorbagh on outskirts of Srinagar city on Thursday morning.
Two terrorists are believed to be holed up. In the wake of the encounters, internet services have been suspended in Noorbagh and Dooru Shahabad.
