"From today's perspective, yes - we will see how it is in January," he told the club's website (www.liverpoolfc.com).

"I think thesquadis wide enough to play indifferentcompetitionsand to come as far as possible and that's the plan at the moment."

Questions have been raised aboutLiverpool's back line whichhasleaked nine goals in five league games. They lost 5-0 to Manchester City before the weekend's 1-1 draw with Burnley.

The club's defensive frailties were also exposed in the 2-2 draw with Sevilla in the Champions League last week butKloppsaid there was no need to panic.

"We will see how it is in January but, in this moment, I feel comfortable when I think aboutdifferentopportunities to use the players and to bring the players indifferentgames," he said.

Kloppsaid Oxlade-Chamberlain's switch to Merseyside from Arsenal made "complete sense" and that the England international had been roped in as a long-term prospect.

"A new start is... kind of a relief. You are in a situation in your old club... and you accept it at some point and then it's difficult to make the next step,"Kloppsaid.

"I thought it made complete sense for Alex to change club, especially to come here. So far, I can see that hehassettled in perfectly."
