<p>Actress Saiyami Kher's passion for fitness and sports is not hidden from the world. Beyond the realms of acting life that come with a super hectic schedule, she remains disciplined and focused on her fitness routine, which includes waking up at 4 am to exercise.</p>
<p>On World Health Day, Saiyami spoke exclusively with WION, emphasizing that "health is the greatest wealth," and the only way to achieve overall fitness is consistency, which will eventually become part of your life, just as it has for her.</p>
<p>The<em> Mirzya </em>actress encouraged young kids to leave their phones behind and participate in outdoor sports. She expressed concern over children adopting strange diets in the name of fitness.</p>
<p>Read excerpts from her conversation below:</p>
<h3><strong>WION: How do you define &lsquo;health&rsquo; beyond just physical fitness?<br><br></strong></h3>
<p><strong>Saiyami: </strong>Health is everything. When people use the phrase health as wealth, it means something that was not understood when you were younger. But how much you work, how much money you make and how famous you get, if you don't have health by your side and you are in a hospital bed or you are at home, none of the wealth or money matters. So, I think health is more important than anything in the world.</p>

<h3><strong>WION: What is the key to your fitness journey, and how do you balance intense training with your packed schedule?&nbsp;<br><br></strong></h3>
<p><strong>Saiyami:&nbsp; </strong>Consistency is the most important thing. If you stick to doing something every single day, you are bound to get better. Just showing up is extremely important when we speak about fitness. Because we get lazy, we do it for three days. Also, it's not about intensity, but it's about consistency. Because you come in and do like 40 km on Monday. Nobody wants you to do that. Gradually grow to that. So, being sensible, being consistent, and just showing up are the most important lessons that I have learned.&nbsp;</p>
<p>When it comes to balancing training with work, I think it's just a little bit of planning that you need. I push myself and wake up early at 4.30 or 4. So, usually, I finish my training before my day starts. And it's almost become a part of my life. Like, I can't imagine not doing something or not training, swimming, cycling. I can't imagine it. So, it just becomes routine, like how we wake up, &nbsp;have breakfast, and have tea. I exercise for 2 hours.</p>

<h3>WION: Do you think that people are too obsessed with performance and data?</h3>
<p><strong>Saiyami: </strong>Everything has become so technology-driven that this watch, this ring, I also wear all these things. But sometimes, I feel like just leaving, not being very data-heavy, enjoying your run or enjoying what you're doing, and not being bothered about posting your time. Just go out and enjoy it for the sake of enjoying it.</p>
<h3>WION: What would you tell young women who think health is about losing weight or looking a certain way?</h3>
<p><strong>Saiyami: </strong>I feel that aesthetics is something that you should not pay attention to, because the weighing scale and looking a size zero and looking slim, this is unhealthy, doing diets, because I see so many 16, 17-year-olds doing all these strange diets and this Intermittent fasting for 20 hours and not eating. I think it's not advisable for your body at that age to do all these things. You need to lead a healthy, balanced diet life with exercise, not be stuck to your phones and digital gadgets. These are very basic things which keep you healthy. As you see, everyone is obsessed with their phones.14-year-old kids in parks- they're not even playing, they're just playing on their phones. So, I feel this needs to change. Get out and play cricket, play some sport, that's what you're meant to do when you're young.</p>

On World Health Day, Saiyami Kher spoke exclusively with WION, emphasizing that "health is the greatest wealth'' as she talked about how she balances intense training with your packed schedule and more.

Actress Saiyami Kher's passion for fitness and sports is not hidden from the world. Beyond the realms of acting life that come with a super hectic schedule, she remains disciplined and focused on her fitness routine, which includes waking up at 4 am to exercise. On World Health Day, Saiyami spoke exclusively with WION, emphasizing that "health is the greatest wealth," and the only way to achieve overall fitness is consistency, which will eventually become part of your life, just as it has for her. The Mirzya actress encouraged young kids to leave their phones behind and participate in outdoor sports. She expressed concern over children adopting strange diets in the name of fitness. Read excerpts from her conversation below: WION: How do you define ‘health’ beyond just physical fitness? Saiyami: Health is everything. When people use the phrase health as wealth, it means something that was not understood when you were younger. But how much you work, how much money you make and how famous you get, if you don't have health by your side and you are in a hospital bed or you are at home, none of the wealth or money matters. So, I think health is more important than anything in the world. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Saiyami Kher (@saiyami) WION: What is the key to your fitness journey, and how do you balance intense training with your packed schedule? Saiyami: Consistency is the most important thing. So, being sensible, being consistent, and just showing up are the most important lessons that I have learned. When it comes to balancing training with work, I think it's just a little bit of planning that you need. I push myself and wake up early at 4.30 or 4. So, usually, I finish my training before my day starts. And it's almost become a part of my life. Like, I can't imagine not doing something or not training, swimming, cycling. I can't imagine it. So, it just becomes routine, like how we wake up, have breakfast, and have tea. I exercise for 2 hours. Round 2 for me...I still got this." The post was captioned with Tahira urging everyone to take care of their health. “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. When life becomes too generous and throws them again at you, you squeeze them calmly into your favourite kala khatta drink and sip it with all the good intentions. Because for one it’s a better drink and two you know you will give it your best once again (red heart emoji)." "#regularscreening #mammogram not shying away from saying it #breastcancer #onemoretime #letsgo. Ironically or not, today is #WorldHealthDay. Let’s do whatever we can in our capacity to take care of ourselves. #gratitude through and through (folded hands emoji)," concluded her note. <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">Stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra has approached the Bombay High Court with a plea seeking the cancellation of FIR registered against him for referring to Shiv Sena president and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde as a &ldquo;traitor (gaddar)" in his show.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">Kamra, in his petition, has argued that the cases infringe upon his fundamental right to freedom of expression under Article 19 and the right to life under Article 21 of the Constitution. The high court is likely to hear Kamra's petition on April 21.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">Kamra's move to file a petition in the Bombay High Court comes days after the Madras High Court granted him interim protection from arrest till April 7. He has skipped three summons from the Mumbai Police so far.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">Kamra hit the headlines a fortnight ago after he sang a parody of 'Bholi Si Surat', a popular song from the Bollywood movie 'Dil To Pagal Hai' while referring to Dy CM Shinde as gaddar. After Shinde staged a rebellion in June 2022, the Shiv Sena split, toppling the Uddhav Thackeray-led government in Maharashtra. Since then, Thackeray and his son Aditya have been using &ldquo;gaddar&rdquo; against Shinde.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">Kamra's reference to Dy CM Shinde led to angry protests by the Shiv Sena, who vandalised the studio where the shooting of his show took place. The state legislature witnessed an uproar on this issue after the Mahayuti alliance members deplored Kamra's move to target Dy CM Shinde, demanding his apology.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">Shiv Sena activists threatened Kamra to teach him a lesson. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also assured stern action against Kunal Kamra and said the government will not tolerate any attempt to undermine the Constitution and freedom of speech. He made it clear that the Freedom of Speech should be well within the Constitution and if someone tries to cross that, it will not be tolerated.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">A breach of privilege notice was moved against Kunal Kamra in the Maharashtra Legislative Council during the recently concluded budget session. &ldquo;Kunal Kamra performed a song containing personal and insulting references to deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde,&rdquo; said BJP legislator Pravin Darekar.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">Dy CM Shinde, on the vandalism of the studio by Shiv Sena activists, said, "I do not support vandalism. I stay calm, work, keep my focus on work and give justice to people. <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">However, Kama said he would not apologise for his comment, saying, &ldquo;I don't fear this mob, and I will not be hiding under my bed, waiting for this to die down.&rdquo;<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">In his post X, Kamra said, "I will not apologise. What I said is exactly what Mr Ajit Pawar (first Dy CM) said about Eknath Shinde (second Dy CM). To the political elders threatening to teach me a lesson, our right to freedom of speech and expression is not only to be used to fawn over the powerful and rich even though today's media would have us believe otherwise. Your inability to take a joke at the expense of a powerful public figure does not change the nature of my right. Entertainment Kunal Kamra has approached the Bombay High Court with a plea seeking the cancellation of FIR registered against him for referring to Shiv Sena president and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde as a “traitor" in his show.

Stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra has approached the Bombay High Court with a plea seeking the cancellation of FIR registered against him for referring to Shiv Sena president and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde as a “traitor (gaddar)" in his show. Kamra, in his petition, has argued that the cases infringe upon his fundamental right to freedom of expression under Article 19 and the right to life under Article 21 of the Constitution. The high court is likely to hear Kamra's petition on April 21. Kamra's move to file a petition in the Bombay High Court comes days after the Madras High Court granted him interim protection from arrest till April 7. He has skipped three summons from the Mumbai Police so far. Kamra hit the headlines a fortnight ago after he sang a parody of 'Bholi Si Surat', a popular song from the Bollywood movie 'Dil To Pagal Hai' while referring to Dy CM Shinde as gaddar. After Shinde staged a rebellion in June 2022, the Shiv Sena split, toppling the Uddhav Thackeray-led government in Maharashtra. Since then, Thackeray and his son Aditya have been using “gaddar” against Shinde. Kamra's reference to Dy CM Shinde led to angry protests by the Shiv Sena, who vandalised the studio where the shooting of his show took place. The state legislature witnessed an uproar on this issue after the Mahayuti alliance members deplored Kamra's move to target Dy CM Shinde, demanding his apology. Kunal Kamra granted interim anticipatory bail by Madras high court amid controversy Shiv Sena activists threatened Kamra to teach him a lesson. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also assured stern action against Kunal Kamra and said the government will not tolerate any attempt to undermine the Constitution and freedom of speech. He made it clear that the Freedom of Speech should be well within the Constitution and if someone tries to cross that, it will not be tolerated. A breach of privilege notice was moved against Kunal Kamra in the Maharashtra Legislative Council during the recently concluded budget session. “Kunal Kamra performed a song containing personal and insulting references to deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde,” said BJP legislator Pravin Darekar. Kunal Kamra responds to second summons with Nirmala Sitharaman parody song Dy CM Shinde, on the vandalism of the studio by Shiv Sena activists, said, "I do not support vandalism. We should also see to what level the other person stoops while making allegations. Action has a reaction. I am sensitive. I have a lot of strength to bear. I do not talk to anyone. I stay calm, work, keep my focus on work and give justice to people. That is why we have achieved such a major success.” He accused Kamra of making a statement against him by taking a 'supari (contract)'. However, Kama said he would not apologise for his comment, saying, “I don't fear this mob, and I will not be hiding under my bed, waiting for this to die down.” Eknath Shinde row: Kunal Kamra hits back with another video, sings 'Hum Honge Kangal Ek Din' In his post X, Kamra said, "I will not apologise. As far as I know, it is not against the law to poke fun at our leaders and the circus that is our political system.” Thereafter, he also criticised the Mumbai Police's move to serve notices to a man in the audience who attended his show to record their statements.

Minecraft Movie strikes gold to dominate N. America box office

<p>The music industry is fighting on platforms, through the courts and with legislators in a bid to prevent the theft and misuse of art from generative AI -- but it remains an uphill battle.</p>
<p>Sony Music said recently it has already demanded that 75,000 deepfakes -- simulated images, tunes or videos that can easily be mistaken for real -- be rooted out, a figure reflecting the magnitude of the issue.</p>
<p>The information security company Pindrop says AI-generated music has "telltale signs" and is easy to detect, yet such music seems to be everywhere.</p>
<p>"Even when it sounds realistic, AI-generated songs often have subtle irregularities in frequency variation, rhythm and digital patterns that aren't present in human performances," said Pindrop, which specialises in voice analysis.</p>
<p>But it takes mere minutes on YouTube or Spotify -- two top music-streaming platforms -- to spot a fake rap from 2Pac about pizzas, or an Ariana Grande cover of a K-pop track that she never performed.</p>
<p>"We take that really seriously, and we're trying to work on new tools in that space to make that even better," said Sam Duboff, Spotify's lead on policy organization.</p>
<p>YouTube said it is "refining" its own ability to spot AI dupes, and could announce results in the coming weeks.</p>
<p>"The bad actors were a little bit more aware sooner," leaving artists, labels and others in the music business "operating from a position of reactivity," said Jeremy Goldman, an analyst at the company Emarketer.</p>
<p>"YouTube, with a multiple of billions of dollars per year, has a strong vested interest to solve this," Goldman said, adding that he trusts they're working seriously to fix it.</p>
<p>"You don't want the platform itself, if you're at YouTube, to devolve into, like, an AI nightmare," he said.</p>
<h2 class="gh-archive-page-post-title"><a class="gh-archive-page-post-title-link" href="https://www.wionews.com/entertainment/tron-ares-trailer-out-jared-leto-leads-the-charge-in-this-highly-anticipated-sci-fi-film-8931637" aria-label="Tron: Ares trailer out: Jared Leto leads the charge in this highly anticipated sci-fi film">Tron: Ares trailer out: Jared Leto leads the charge in this highly anticipated sci-fi film</a></h2>
<h2><strong>Litigation</strong></h2>
<p>But beyond deepfakes, the music industry is particularly concerned about unauthorised use of its content to train generative AI models like Suno, Udio or Mubert.</p>
<p>Several major labels filed a lawsuit last year at a federal court in New York against the parent company of Udio, accusing it of developing its technology with "copyrighted sound recordings for the ultimate purpose of poaching the listeners, fans and potential licensees of the sound recordings it copied."</p>
<p>More than nine months later, proceedings have yet to begin in earnest. The same is true for a similar case against Suno, filed in Massachusetts.</p>
<p>At the center of the litigation is the principle of fair use, allowing limited use of some copyrighted material without advance permission. It could limit the application of intellectual property rights.</p>
<p>"It's an area of genuine uncertainty," said Joseph Fishman, a law professor at Vanderbilt University.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Any initial rulings won't necessarily prove decisive, as varying opinions from different courts could punt the issue to the Supreme Court.</p>
<p>In the meantime, the major players involved in AI-generated music continue to train their models on copyrighted work -- raising the question of whether the battle isn't already lost.</p>
<p>Fishman said it may be too soon to say that: although many models are already training on protected material, new versions of those models are released continuously, and it's unclear whether any court decisions would create licensing issues for those models going forward.</p>
<h2><strong>Deregulation</strong></h2>
<p>When it comes to the legislative arena, labels, artists and producers have found little success.</p>
<p>Several bills have been introduced in the US Congress, but nothing concrete has resulted.&nbsp;</p>
<p>A few states -- notably Tennessee, home to much of the powerful country music industry -- have adopted protective legislation, notably when it comes to deepfakes.</p>
<p>Donald Trump poses another potential roadblock: the Republican president has postured himself as a champion of deregulation, particularly of AI.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Several giants in AI have jumped into the ring, notably Meta, which has urged the administration to "clarify that the use of publicly available data to train models is unequivocally fair use."</p>
<p>If Trump's White House takes that advice, it could push the balance against music professionals, even if the courts theoretically have the last word.</p>
<p>The landscape is hardly better in Britain, where the Labor government is considering overhauling the law to allow AI companies to use creators' content on the internet to help develop their models, unless rights holders opt out.</p>
<p>More than a thousand musicians, including Kate Bush and Annie Lennox, released an album in February entitled "Is This What We Want?" -- featuring the sound of silence recorded in several studios -- to protest those efforts.</p>
<p>For analyst Goldman, AI is likely to continue plaguing the music industry -- as long as it remains unorganized.</p>
<p>"The music industry is so fragmented," he said. "I think that that winds up doing it a disservice in terms of solving this thing."</p>

Entertainment This initiative comes as part of a broader effort by the music industry to safeguard intellectual property and ensure artists are credited and compensated for their work.

Several major labels filed a lawsuit last year at a federal court in New York against the parent company of Udio, accusing it of developing its technology with "copyrighted sound recordings for the ultimate purpose of poaching the listeners, fans and potential licensees of the sound recordings it copied." More than nine months later, proceedings have yet to begin in earnest. The same is true for a similar case against Suno, filed in Massachusetts. At the center of the litigation is the principle of fair use, allowing limited use of some copyrighted material without advance permission. It could limit the application of intellectual property rights. "It's an area of genuine uncertainty," said Joseph Fishman, a law professor at Vanderbilt University. Any initial rulings won't necessarily prove decisive, as varying opinions from different courts could punt the issue to the Supreme Court. In the meantime, the major players involved in AI-generated music continue to train their models on copyrighted work -- raising the question of whether the battle isn't already lost. Fishman said it may be too soon to say that: although many models are already training on protected material, new versions of those models are released continuously, and it's unclear whether any court decisions would create licensing issues for those models going forward. Deregulation When it comes to the legislative arena, labels, artists and producers have found little success. Several bills have been introduced in the US Congress, but nothing concrete has resulted. A few states -- notably Tennessee, home to much of the powerful country music industry -- have adopted protective legislation, notably when it comes to deepfakes. Donald Trump poses another potential roadblock: the Republican president has postured himself as a champion of deregulation, particularly of AI. Several giants in AI have jumped into the ring, notably Meta, which has urged the administration to "clarify that the use of publicly available data to train models is unequivocally fair use." If Trump's White House takes that advice, it could push the balance against music professionals, even if the courts theoretically have the last word. The landscape is hardly better in Britain, where the Labor government is considering overhauling the law to allow AI companies to use creators' content on the internet to help develop their models, unless rights holders opt out. More than a thousand musicians, including Kate Bush and Annie Lennox, released an album in February entitled "Is This What We Want?" -- featuring the sound of silence recorded in several studios -- to protest those efforts. For analyst Goldman, AI is likely to continue plaguing the music industry -- as long as it remains unorganized. "The music industry is so fragmented," he said. "I think that that winds up doing it a disservice in terms of solving this thing."

The music industry is battling AI -- with limited success

<p>Appearing on the <em>PBD </em>Podcast, Howard revealed that Diddy had persistently invited him to his home under the pretext of receiving acting lessons. After weeks of pressure, Howard finally agreed to visit.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Puffy had been calling me nonstop, saying he wanted help with acting,&rdquo; Howard recalled. &ldquo; So I show up, and he&rsquo;s just sitting there, watching me. I ask what the material is, and he just keeps staring. No lines, no script&mdash;just silence.&rdquo;</p>

Peddi: First teaser for Ram Charan's upcoming sports drama is here

<p>India&rsquo;s Oscar entry, <em>Laapata Ladies </em>directed by Kiran Rao is coming under fire for being copied from an Arabic film titled <em>The Burqa City.</em> Ever since netizens found the short film, they have been drawing comparisons between the two.&nbsp;</p>
<h2><strong>Original story, says Laapata Ladies writer</strong></h2>
<p>Responding to the plagiarism allegations, <em>Laapata Ladies&rsquo;</em> writer Biplab Goswami shared a statement on Instagram and called it a &ldquo;100% original&rdquo; film. He said that he registered the synopsis of <em>Laapataa Ladies</em> with the Screenwriters Association back in 2014, before the Arabic film was even made.</p>
<p>He wrote, "The screenplay for Laapataa Ladies was developed extensively over many years. I first registered the film's detailed synopsis, outlining the entire story with the working title &lsquo; Two Brides', with the Screenwriters Association on July 3, 2014."&nbsp;</p>
<p>"Even within this registered synopsis, there is a scene that clearly describes the groom bringing home the wrong bride and being shocked and stricken upon realising his mistake because of the veil, along with the rest of his family. This is where the story takes off," he added.&nbsp;</p>
<p><a href="https://www.wionews.com/entertainment/bollywood/news-is-kiran-raos-film-laapata-ladies-based-on-a-real-story-761174">Is Kiran Rao's film Laapata Ladies based on a real story?</a></p>
<p>Biplab insists in his statement on social media that the film&rsquo;s script was with the Screenwriters Association in 2018 and that it went on to win the runner-up award at the Cinestaan Storytellers Competition.&nbsp;</p>

Entertainment Is Laapata Ladies a copy of Arabic film Burqa City? Biplab Goswami denies plagiarism claims and said he submitted script even before Burqa City was made.

India’s Oscar entry, Laapata Ladies directed by Kiran Rao is coming under fire for being copied from an Arabic film titled The Burqa City. Ever since netizens found the short film, they have been drawing comparisons between the two. Original story, says Laapata Ladies writer Responding to the plagiarism allegations, Laapata Ladies’ writer Biplab Goswami shared a statement on Instagram and called it a “100% original” film. He said that he registered the synopsis of Laapataa Ladies with the Screenwriters Association back in 2014, before the Arabic film was even made. He wrote, "The screenplay for Laapataa Ladies was developed extensively over many years. I first registered the film's detailed synopsis, outlining the entire story with the working title ‘Two Brides', with the Screenwriters Association on July 3, 2014." "Even within this registered synopsis, there is a scene that clearly describes the groom bringing home the wrong bride and being shocked and stricken upon realising his mistake because of the veil, along with the rest of his family. This is where the story takes off," he added. Is Kiran Rao's film Laapata Ladies based on a real story? Biplab insists in his statement on social media that the film’s script was with the Screenwriters Association in 2018 and that it went on to win the runner-up award at the Cinestaan Storytellers Competition.
