Veteran Telugu actor Rajendra Prasad's daughter Gayatri
Renowned South Indian actor Rajendra Prasad's daughter Gayatripassed away in the early morning of Saturday (Oct 5). As perreports, she died due to heart attack.
Late night on Oct 4, Gayatri complained of chest pain and was taken to a private hospital in Hyderabad. However, despite several efforts by the medical team, she was not able to survive.
Gayatri reportedlyexperienced gastric discomfort after which she was taken to the hospital. Butshe suffered a massive heart attack around 12:40 amand passed away.
As per Money Control, Prasad, who was on a film set quickly rushed to the hospital on receiving the news. But by the time he reached, she passed away. Gayatri's last rites will be performed today in Hyderabad.
Prasad's relationship with her daughter was strained. They were not intalking terms after Gayatri's lovemarriage. However, things were getting better between them when this tragedy happened.
Gayatri is survived by her daughter Sai Tejaswini.

Soon after the news broke, superstar Jr NTR shared a tributeon his official X account.
He wrote in Telugu (translated to English),''The death of Rajendra Prasad's daughter Gayatri, who was very dear to me, is very sad. I pray that their souls rest in peace. My deepest condolences to Rajendra Prasad and his family.''
Actor Nani wrote,''Deepest condolences to Rajendra Prasad gaaru and his family. This is heart breaking.''
Sharing a photo of Gayatri, actor Navdeep wrote, "Deeply saddened by the loss of your beloved daughter Gayatri, #RajendraPrasad Garu. My heartfelt condolences to you and your family during this unimaginably difficult time. May her soul rest in peace."
For the unversed, Rajendra has worked in multiple blockbuster films such as Kalki 2898 AD, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Rendu Rellu Aaru, Ladies Tailor,and Appula Appa Rao among others.
