Stranger Things turned 8th today (July 15). Marking the special day, the makers have a treat for the showsmillions of fans. Theupcoming fifth and final part is something that we all are eagerly waiting for. While, it's unclear when we are going back to the world of Hawkins again. But,before that makers are doing everything possible to keep fans on the edge of their seats.
Celebrating the big day, the makers gave a big update on the final season of the show. No release date has been unveiled. However, the show is expected to arrive in 2025 sometimes.
New Footage of Stranger Things
On Monday, Netflix shared the first glimpseofthe final season of its superhit series. The released video offers viewersa behind-the-scenes look atseason 5. The makers revealed that filming is halfway finished.
The two-minute clip starts with a shot ofa clapperboard shotbefore we take a tour of theeerie world ofHawkinsand its high school. Caleb McLaughlin, who plays Lucas says: "Welcome to season five of Stranger Things."
The new footage also revealed three new actorsjoining the show in the final season: Nell Fisher, Alex Breaux and Jake Connelly.

The video captures the large set of the Stranger Things studio as we see cast members shooting, roaming around the set, cherishing and making moments on the set of the show.
In the clip, Millie Bobby Brown says, “I started when I was 10, I’m now turning 20 years old, Feels very weird.”
In the show, Brown plays the key role of Eleven.
“It’s just so exciting, I think this is going to be the best season yet,” says Noah Schnapp (Will Byers) somewhere in the video. In season 4, the group of four boys was separated in the entire season. However, the clip showed a shot of Caleb, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, and Noah Schnapp, gathered around a radio.
Later on, Gaten Matarazzo, who plays Dustin, can be seen walking around the set, saying "this is home".
British actor Jamie Campbell Bower, who plays Vecna, also appears in the clip. H ‘Season 4 was very big’ but that ‘season 5 feels bigger’.
