Salman Khan, father Salim Khan get letter with dire threats
If reports are to be believed, Bollywood actor Salman Khan's father, Salim Khan, has again been threatened during his regular morning walk.
On Wednesday (Sep 18), veteran screenwriter Salim Khan received a fresh threatwhen he was out for a morning walk on Mumbai's Carter Road. A man and a woman on a bike threatened Khan, mentioningjailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's name.
"Should I send Lawrence Bishnoi?,'' the burqa-clad woman said to Khan, who was sitting on a bench.
The Bandra policebooked two people and said that the incident appeared to be a prank. The case has been registered against the two individuals under Section 352(2), 292, 3(5) BNS.
As per Indian news agency ANI, ''Mumbai Police arrests two people for threatening Actor Salman Khan's father, Salim Khan. The accused threatened Salim Khan in the name of Lawrence Bishnoi while Salim Khan was on a morning walk and the accused tried to impress his woman friend, Salim Khan's bodyguard complained about this to the police. Bandra Police has arrested the accused. When the police interrogated both of them, they said that they were just having fun: Mumbai Police.''

Lawrence Bishnoi threatens Salman Khan and his family
Gangster Bishnoi has previously threatened Salman Khan and his family.
In June 2022, Khan's father received a threatening letter when he was out for a morning walk. Back then, he was handed over the letter, addressing him and his son Salman.
Earlier this year,Lawrence Bishnoi's gang took responsibilityfor the firing that took place in the wee hours of April 14 outside Salman Khan's building in Bandra, Mumbai.Lawrence is currently in Sabarmati Central Prison in Gujarat.
Salman, one of India's most popular actors, hasbeen reportedly receiving multiple death threats for over two years now. Amid all the death threats,security has beentightened upat Salman's apartment.
Two dreaded gangsters, Goldy Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi, areupset with Salman and have vowed to take revenge for the actorkilling two blackbucks in 1998 in Rajasthan while shooting for the Bollywood film Hum Saath Saath Hain, hurting the sentiments of the Bishnoi community who consider this animal sacred.
