Disappointing news for the fans. The Lovers & Friends Festival 2024 has been cancelled. Scheduled to take place in Las Vegas, the organisers were forced to cancel the event in less than 15 hours due to potential bad weather.
The announcement was made via a social media handle of the event on Friday night. The concertgoers will receive a refund within a month.
The post reads, ''Lovers & Friends Festival has unfortunately been cancelled due to dangerous weather predicted for Saturday. Fans who purchased tickets directly through Front Gate Tickets will receive a refund within 30 days. ''
At the third instalment of the annual hip-hop and R&B festival,artists like Usher, Backstreet Boys, Janet Jackson and Alicia Keys were set to take the stage.
On the website of the festival, the organisers have mentioned that the National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning, including dangerous 30-35 mph sustained winds with gusts potentially more than 60 mph.
