Love is Blind season 7 reunion is now out, and the participants address several controversies that have been making headlines. One such incident was when Ramses reportedly refused to wear a condom.

Ramses was engaged to Marissa, and the two looked like the one couple that would pip everyone to the post, and for sure say I do. However, Ramses called it off just days before the wedding, becoming one of the biggest villains on the show ever.

An earlier episode showed Marissa having a breakdown after he suddenly ended things with her without giving her a role in the conversation.

Of the many things the couple were known for, one was the use of contraception. During one of their conversations, Ramses seemed to be telling Marissa to go on the pill as he was not ready to wear a condom. Marissa didn't want to go on hormonal contraception, and that stood out as a point of difference between the two during the later half of the show.

At the reunion, Ramses cleared the air around it to try and shed off the bad reputation it earned him. Recalling the conversation, Ramses says that at no point did he force Marissa to use hormonal contraception.

He said he was aware of what people had been saying about him regarding the matter, but he absolutely did not force her to do anything.

"I was not being whiny or bratty, like 'oh, I don't want to wear a condom'," he said.

He said he understood the effects the pill can have on a woman's body and so the two of them reached a mutual way out that worked for them.

Marissa did not say anything about the matter, neither confirming nor denying if that was true.

Ramses also invited Marissa's mother's ire who told him that you walked away and did not see what she went through. "You broke her and I had to help pick her up. She was devastated."

Meanwhile, explaining what went wrong between the two, Ramses said he felt a gap in their energies during the latter portion of the experience, and the balance he felt in the pods was missing in real life.

Ramses said, "I realised if I move forward with Marissa, every day I would be in a place where I feel exhausted and overwhelmed."

"I didn't want to change her and she deserved someone who would embrace her full as she is, and that person couldn't be me."
