The BTS Meal will hit the US on May 26 at participating restaurants and will be available globally in nearly 50 countries. “The band has great memories with McDonald’s,” BTS’ label Big Hit Music said in a statement. “We’re excited about this collaboration and can’t wait to share the BTS Meal with the world.” The meal was announced using french fries to emulate the group’s iconic logo, includes a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, medium fries and medium Coke, complete with Sweet Chili and Cajun dipping sauces inspired by popular McDonald’s South Korea recipes.
A new season -- whether summer or winter -- always brings new vibes, new colours, and gives you an opportunity to redo your surroundings as per your mood.

Here are some ways to make your home refreshing and summer-ready by Raghunandan Saraf, CEO and Founder, Saraf Furniture.

Colourful outdoor setting:

We love summer sundowners, particularly when the gathering moves outside. Pick a comfortable open air seating set that encourages discussion and lingering. Some bright outside cushions and throws for are an absolute necessity. You can also spice up the setting with hint of string/ fairy lights. Consider string lights as mood, rather than task lighting for magical space.

Turn your porch into a lounge for summer evenings:

On the off chance that your house is lacking in space, transform your porch where you can simply unwind. With the correct furnishings and embellishments, your patio can give your little home an additional eating space. Giving your front entryway a coloured makeover adds additional style to your yard and a point of interest for your new outdoor space.

Amp up the bar station:

Summers call out for cool-refreshing drinks. Especially when the temperature heats up, one tends to find solace in the cool drinks. For the season, fresh and fruity summer cocktails deserve a dedicated station. You could always turn that little empty corner, or an otherwise unused area in your house as a make-shift bar station. As one says, `every party house needs a fantastic, spilling-over bar`.

Re-arrange Furniture:

The manner in which you utilise your home in the winters versus summers is most likely to be different. Winters mean more evenings cozied up with the TV or having individuals over for occasion parties, so the furniture mirrors that. In the summer, children are bound to play computer games or read in their rooms. Moving your furniture around prepares your home for a comfy summer. Beanbags by the shelves encourage reading and lounge chairs outdoors helps you keep an eye on the kids while they play.

Add summer scents into your House:

Probably the most ideal approach to freshen up your home for the mid-year is getting summer fragrances. Regardless of whether you love the solace of a candle or you incline toward scented oils, summer aromas can light up your state of mind. Search for brilliant, clean aromas like lemon and orange. Or then again, in case you`re a flower person, pick spring-prepared scents like lilac or rose.

Assuming spring is a period for recharging, summer is a period for basically enjoying your hard-work. By preparing your home, you can shake out the dust and laziness of colder climate and love your space in a bright, new, vaporous way.

"People asked me my favourite shot in the entire film. Now don't get me wrong, the bus shot is really pretty, except I find this more comforting. As someone who goes through dysphoria, ( Google dysphoria, I'm not doing the labour) its not an easy task for a post op transwoman, to act in her pre op self. It can be a little heavy mentally, given the baggage. I took this role as a challenge, and I think I didn't act. Maybe I didn't have to. Despite the hectic shoot schedule, and the annoying makeovers, I think I pulled it off. I've never felt as happy as I did, after packup. I did it. Indian jewellery ad featuring a transwoman is winning the Internet for all right reasons

A new study explored the significant benefits of later school start times for middle and high school students` sleep schedules.

The findings of the study were published in the journal `Sleep`. Sleep is essential to a student`s overall health, social development, and academic achievement, yet lack of sleep is common among children and adolescents. Biological changes to sleep cycles during puberty make falling asleep early difficult for adolescents. This, coupled with early school start times, means that students often end up with insufficient sleep.

Approximately 28,000 elementary, middle, and high school students and parents completed surveys annually, before changes to school start times and for two years afterward. Participating elementary schools started 60 minutes earlier, middle, 40-60 minutes later, and high school started 70 minutes later.Student and parent surveys separately asked about students` typical bedtime and wake time on both weekdays and weekends. The surveys also asked respondents to report on students` quality of sleep and their experience of daytime sleepiness.

Researchers found that the greatest improvements in these measures occurred for high school students, who obtained an extra 3.8 hours of sleep per week after the later start time was implemented.

More than one in ten high school students reported improved sleep quality and one in five reported less daytime sleepiness. The average "weekend oversleep," or additional sleep on weekends, amongst high schoolers dropped from just over two hours to 1.2 hours, suggesting that with enough weekday sleep, students are no longer clinically sleep deprived and no longer feel compelled to "catch up" on weekends.

Likewise, middle school students obtained 2.4 additional hours of sleep per week with a later school start time. Researchers saw a 12 per cent decrease in middle schoolers reporting daytime sleepiness. The percent of elementary school students reporting sufficient sleep duration, poor sleep quality, or daytime sleepiness did not change over the course of the study.

The benefits of later start times were similar across racial and socioeconomic groups, but survey results indicated differences in weekday bedtimes. The authors encourage steps to be taken to "identify and ameliorate systemic factors that contribute to these differences," recommending education programs developed in partnership with families to ensure that guidance for adjusting bedtimes and increasing sleep opportunities are sensitive to sociocultural and environmental factors.

Previous studies have not concurrently considered the impact of changing start times on sleep for students from Kindergarten through 12th grade, a key factor in policy outcomes due to the need for school districts to stagger start times to accommodate transportation schedules.

"This study is remarkable due to the large sample size, the inclusion of elementary and middle school students, the two-year follow-up, and both student and parent report. It also provides the strongest evidence to date that moving elementary school start times to 8:00 am caused no significant negative effect on student sleep or daytime sleepiness. As students return to in-person learning, it is important for districts to consider healthy start times for all students," the authors concluded.

Marvel Comics has unveiled the full-line of the new, formal, and official X-Men super-team debuting in writer Gerry Duggan and artists Pepe Larraz and Marte Gracia's new "flagship" mutant title X-Men, which relaunches in July.

Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Sunfire, Rogue, Wolverine (the former X-23, not Logan), Synch, and Polaris will join forces with Charles Xavier.

According to the publisher, the new title will "showcase the incredible adventures of the first X-Men team since the mutant nation of Krakoa was formed in Jonathan Hickman's revolutionary House of X and Powers of X."

"The current era of X-Men has evolved mutant storytelling like never before," reads Marvel's announcement. Here's what Queen wrote in her last note to Prince Philip

The Royal loyalists and fans of the royal family are in mourning today, as the funeral of Prince Philip is set to take place. Prince Philip’s coffin will be transported to his funeral in a specially designed Land Rover hearse.

The Queen, meanwhile, will arrive at her late husband’s final farewell in the state Bentley as part of the procession through the grounds of Windsor Castle to St George’s Chapel.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there will be just 30 guests – the majority of them the Duke’s close family – and the monarch will have to sit alone during service.

However, she will be accompanied to the church by a lady-in-waiting.

The Queen’s ladies-in-waiting, personally chosen by the monarch, have a variety of duties including attending to private and personal matters for the Queen and handling her correspondence. Some of the ladies-in-waiting have been with the Queen for more than 50 years and act as both friends and loyal assistants.

They have also been part of HMS Bubble – the name given to the reduced selection of around 20 staff attending to the Queen at Windsor during the lockdown.

The Palace has not said which lady-in-waiting will accompany the Queen in the vehicle. However, Elizabeth II’s senior lady-in-waiting is Lady Susan Hussey, who was married to the late BBC chairman Marmaduke Hussey.

While the Queen will be joined by her trusted companion on her way to the service, she will sit by herself in the quire of the chapel. As the Queen has been staying in Windsor with members of staff, she is unable to form a support bubble with another household.

So while couples who are within one household – such as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall – will be able to sit together, the monarch must sit alone.

Government guidance states that funeral ceremonies must have no more than 30 people attending, whether indoors or outdoors, and Buckingham Palace has confirmed that the congregation will wear face masks for the service.

The official advice instructs: “Wear a face covering, as required by law when attending indoor places of worship, crematoriums and burial ground chapels unless you are exempt for health, disability or other reasons.”

Singing, shouting, chanting or raising your voice must also be avoided in indoor settings, with the palace confirming that a choir of four people will be the only people singing in the church.

The 30-person guest limit does not include anyone working at the event, so the choristers, the Archbishop of Canterbury and the Dean of Windsor are not counted.

Members of the public have been urged to stay away from the area on the day and to watch live on TV instead.

Like Prince Philip's funeral, Princess Margaret's ceremony was a low-key affair, taking place in St George's Chapel with only close family and friends in attendance. It is not yet clear what the Duchess of Cambridge and other young female Royals will wear to the funeral, but they will follow rules which have been said to be preferred by the Queen. The rules include wearing longer skirts with black tights, as well as wearing a hat or a fascinator. Due to coronavirus restrictions, the funeral's attendees are also expected to wear black face masks. After the news of the Prince's death broke on April 9, all British newsreaders wore black. This is because that Operation Forth Bridge, which is code for Prince Philip's death, dictated that newsreaders must wear black if on-air throughout the day, as well as any other news presenters, as a sign of respect. Additionally, MPs wore black armbands and will continue to do so until Prince Philip's funeral.

This royal is playing the 'peacekeeper' between William and Harry as they prepare for Prince Philip's funeral

Prince Phillip planned his funeral for almost 18 years with military precision, leaving nothing to chance.

According to Telegraph, from the moment his coffin is brought out of Windsor Castle to the time his body is lowered into the Royal Vault of the Buckingham Palace, the Duke of Edinburgh had meticulously planned the details of the ceremony.

Prince Philip will be making his final journey on April 17 from the State Entrance of Windsor Castle on a Land Rover Defender TD5 130 which the duke has been modifying himself since 2003. He requested that the Defender be painted in military green to mark his life-long association with the forces.

Manufactured in 2003 in the Solihull factory of Land Rover, Prince Philip oversaw the modifications through the intervening years, with the final adjustment being made in 2019, when he was 98.

According to the reports, the prince personally selected medals, decorations and insignia to be displayed at his funeral. Due to coronavirus restrictions in England, only 30 people would be allowed to attend the funeral, and the guest list includes three of his German relatives added at his behest.
At the age of 23, Luigi Borgato decided to build his first piano, for himself.

In the decades that ensued, the Italian craftsman grew his business into a prestigious brand capable of attracting buyers from all over the world -- until the coronavirus pandemic abruptly put a halt to it all.

Now, the 58-year-old fears his ancient trade could disappear entirely in Italy, the country that invented the pianoforte at the end of the 17th century.

"Everything stopped, there are no more concerts, no more contacts with musicians. Without government assistance, our profession may not make it to the end of the pandemic," Borgato told AFP.

Inside his home in Borgo Veneto, near Padua in northern Italy, everything breathes classical music -- a bust of Verdi and a portrait of Beethoven hold court along with concert posters from such storied opera houses as La Scala in Milan.

At the back of the room sits the Doppio Borgato, an imposing assembly of two grand pianos on top of each other, with 37 pedals.

Halfway between an organ and a piano, the concept was borrowed from Mozart who had a pedal piano built in 1785.

When Borgato starts to play a Chopin prelude, he modestly smiles, murmuring that he should "study a little more".

Nearby sits the latest addition to Borgato's collection, introduced in 2017 by its inventor as "the longest concert piano in the world", at 3.33 metres (10.9 feet), about 50 centimetres longer than the standard.

Borgato and his wife Paola, who is in charge of each instrument's mechanics, build a maximum of two pianos per year, aided by a single employee.

- Handcrafted -

"There is no one else in Italy, or even in the world making concert pianos by hand like we do," said Borgato.

"But with the pandemic, people are thinking twice about investing in a piano."

The price of a Borgato ranges from 291,000-486,000 euros ($346,114-$578,083) excluding tax, depending on the model, each of which represents more than 1,850 hours of work.

Buyers are mostly from abroad, from Switzerland, France, Germany, Austria but also China, and are generally piano players -- although some invest in the instrument as a work of art.

Paola, 55, acknowledged the difficulty of saying goodbye to the handcrafted pianos.

"There is always a beautiful part of our life in each instrument that leaves," she said.

Her husband lamented that Italy does not adequately recognise the craft of piano making, despite it being the country where Padua's Bartolomeo Cristofori invented the piano's ancestor, the pianoforte, in 1698.

Throughout Europe, small piano factories have gradually disappeared in favour of large companies, which in turn have been swallowed up by Asian giants.

Austrian manufacturer Boesendorfer, for example, has been owned by Japan's Yamaha since 2008, while Germany's Schimmel sold a majority stake to China's Pearl River in 2016.

- 'A great actor whispering' -

In his workshop, Borgato meticulously takes measurements, then cuts, molds and glues each part, from the soundboard in red spruce to the hammer heads covered with merino wool felt -- at least 15,000 for a grand piano.

After starting his career as a tuner in 1983, he and his wife travelled the world to visit museums of musical instruments and study the history of the piano.

In 1985, driving an old Renault 4L, Borgato went to Berlin to visit his first piano factory, that of Bechstein.

It was also in Germany that he drew inspiration for his first piano, after visiting the house in Bonn where Ludwig van Beethoven was born in 1770.

Following the example of the German composer's last instrument, he created a piano with four strings for the high notes instead of three, an idea he patented.

In 1991, the French virtuoso Jean Guillou, who died two years ago, inaugurated this piano in the Church of Saint-Eustache in Paris, referring to its "young genius piano maker".

Since then, famous pianists such as Radu Lupu, Vladimir Ashkenazy or Jerome Rose have given recitals on Borgato pianos.

If the concerts have stopped due to coronavirus, the professional recordings continue.

During the lockdown last year, Italian pianist Francesco Libetta played all 35 sonatas of Beethoven on a Borgato, describing the sound of the 3.33-metre piano as "breathtakingly beautiful."

"This piano is gigantic, but the sound that emanates from it is very supple, very nuanced, and allows you to go easily from pianissimo to fortissimo," Libetta said.

"It's like a great actor whispering and the back row of the house can hear it perfectly."
