Emma Roberts is ready to take her relationship a step further as the actress announced her engagement on social media with an adorable post. Emma took toInstagram to sharea picture that features the couple – her and Cody John.
Emma has been quite private about her personal life. So this was the first time that she truly opened up about her romantic relationship. Emma and Cody got engaged on July 16.
Wedding bells on their way
The couple is rumoured to get married soon. However, we don’t have much information about the wedding date or the venue.
Emma shared an engagement post in which the two share a laugh as the actress flaunts an engagement ring on her finger. The post was captioned, “putting this here before my mom tells everyone,” followed by a heart emoji. The caption was about an incident that happened earlier this year with mom Kelly Cunningham.

So in early February, Kelly had shared a picture of Emma Robert’s 3-year-old son which she shares with ex-Garrett Hedlund. Her mom made the post without consulting Emma, wholater addressed this on Instagram Story and wrote, “When your mom posts your son’s face without asking but you love them both so whatever.”

As for Emma Roberts and Cody John, the two met on the sets of Hulu's Wu-Tang: An American Saga. They also worked together on The CW's In the Dark.
Emma first revealed her relationship with Cody on August 22 when the latter confirmed their romance with a post. He captioned it, “Sweet sweet.” Later that year, Emma Roberts too acknowledged her relationship as she posted an image of them holding hands. The post read, “#2022 I loved you.
