Confirmed! 'GoT' star Sophie Turner ties the knot with Joe Jonas in a secret wedding

This can easily qualify for the quickest marriage this year and also one that will leave all their fans surprised as ‘Game of Thrones’ star Sophie Turner tied the knot with singer Joe Jonas earlier today.

This happened less than two hours after they were seen attending the 2019 Billboard Music Awards. As the Jonas Brothers performed during the ceremony, Sophie was seen with sister-in-law Priyanka Chopra as they cheered them on from the crowd.The reunion was special as the last time the Jonas Brothers had performed at an awards night was back in 2009. They had disbanded in 2013. But as the three brothers - Kevin, Joe and Nick- came together a few months back for their smash hit 'Sucker, fans were overjoyed. The track topped multiple charts and made way for their second single 'Cool'. They have also announced 'Happiness Begins' tour dates.

Sophie and Joe then left to a closeby chapel where they got married in secrecy without anyone getting a whiff of their plans. The couple had obtained a marriage license on May 1.

News of their wedding soon spread after DJ Diplo, who was a part of the nuptials, started posting pictures and videos on his Instagram account. In one of the video, the 23-year-old bride can be seen walking down the aisle in a white bridal ensemble and veil.

The groom, Joe Jonas looked dapper in a grey suit.

Dan + Shay performed their hit song ‘Speechless’ at the ceremony.
