Sushmita Sen's daughter, Renee Sen is all grown up and is following the footsteps of her mother, alibi slightly differently. Renee has joined the world of showbiz and gained invaluable experience as an intern assistant director (AD) in Vicky Kaushal's latest film, Bad Newz. The film, directed by Anand Tiwari and helmed by Karan Johar was released in theatres across the country on July 19.

On Friday, as the film was released in theatres, Renee shared a post on social media talking about her enriching experience while working on the film, expressing her gratitude and enthusiasm for the opportunity. She highlighted the practical learning and hands-on experience she gained, which she equated to the value of attending a film school, if not more.

In the post, Renee said, "Working on 'Bad Newz' has been nothing short of gratifying. It was as good as going to film school or maybe better. Our wonderful crew has taught me so much, and I've made friends for life. I'm so grateful to our director, Anand Tiwari! Thank you for this opportunity, and I look forward to you directing me someday. Special mention to Reshma Shetty Ma'am for making this happen. We did it, team! Cheers to the best Bad Newz.'"
