Ayan Mukerji's sci-fi film Brahmastra Part One: Shiva roared at the 70th National Awards as the movie won awards for 'Best Film in AVGC,' 'Best Male Playback Singer,' and 'Best Music Director,’ etching the film’s name in the film industry in golden letters.
Johar took to Instagram to pen down a heartfelt note as Dharma Productions also completed 44 years in the film industry. He wrote, “Every time I step onto this stage, it’s always a different feeling of magic. But there’s one feeling that always remains - gratitude. Thank you @mib_india for the constant support & strength for our film fraternity to tell stories and bring it to the people of our nation. And thank you to the audience, for the bountiful love that you shower.”
He added, “This is the third time for me on stage, and the magnanimity of it all is not lost on me. And what a day to celebrate - since today also marks 44 years of @dharmamovies!”
Brahmastra's achievement
Johar also praised Ayan Mukerji and the whole team of Brahmastra for this achievement highlighting every person’s hard work.
The director ended the note by saying, “@ayan_mukerji, here’s to #Brahmastra being etched in history. To the team, who made the magic happen - thank you!”
After the win, Ayan Mukerji also expressed his happiness and spoke about the film’s achievement. “It’s a special day for us. I am deeply grateful for the recognition Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva has received at the National Awards. The music of the film holds a special place in all our hearts. Pritam Da’s compositions, coupled Amitabh’s lyrics and with Arijit’s voice, is something I feel so proud and grateful for!”
He added, “From the music to the visual effects, we poured a lot of love into making this film, and I thank the entire team for this fantastic collaborative effort which continues to give us so much love.”
