Delhi Capitals (DC) batter Jake Fraser-McGurk played a sensational innings on his Indian Premier League (IPL) debut which included three back-to-back sixes ofLucknow Super Giants (LSG) all-rounder Krunal Pandya. Fraser-McGurk, who eventually scored 55 off 35 balls, was key to help DC beat LSG by six wickets on April 12.
The batter hit five sixes in his innings and three of them came consecutively against Pandya in the 13th over. Have a look at the video below:
With the win, DC moved up from the last place to now sit on the ninth position of the 10-team table. Chasing a modest 168, David Warner was sent back early by LSG's Yash Thakur. Prithvi Shaw (32 off 22) and Fraser-McGurk then added 39 runs for the second wicket before DC skipper Rishabh Pant came on to bat.
DC effectively closed the game with a partnership of 77 runs for the third wicket between the debutant and Pant. After both the set batters departed inside six runs, Tristan Stubbs (15 off 9 not out) and Shai Hope (11 off 10 not out) took the team home in 18.1 overs.

Earlier, LSG won the toss and elected to bat first in Lucknow. Super Giants' decision, however, backfired soon as they lost two wickets inside the powerplay before losing three more in the next four overs. By 13th over, LSG were seven down for 94 runs before Ayush Badoni, who hit unbeaten 55 off 35, and Arshad Khan (20 not out) added 73 runs - the highest in IPL for the eighth wicket.
For DC, spinner Kuldeep Yadav once again proved his worth as he returned with figures of 3/20 in his four overs. Apart from him, Khaleel Ahmed took 2/41 while Ishant Sharma and Mukesh Kumar chipped with one each.
This was Lucknow's second loss in five games as they currently sit on fourth place with six points from three wins.
