Mithali Raj, captain of the Indian women's cricket team, created history by becoming the highest run-getter in the history of women's ODI.
She crossed the 6000-run milestone against Australia during the ICC Worl Cup match against Australia.
Mithali joined another record holder JhulanGoswami who is the lead wicket taker in the 50-over format.
Mithali replaced former England captain Charlotte Edwards who had scored 5992 runs.
She notched up the milestone in style with a huge six off leg-break bowler Kirsten Beams.
Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli congratulated Mithali on achieving this feat.
