Indian men's cricket team head coach Rahul Dravid was in a jovial mood after the Men-in-Blue lifted the T20 World Cup trophy after a long, 17-year wait on Saturday (Jun 29). Dravid, who endured a painful exit from the 50-over World Cup in the Caribbean in 2007had a 'life-coming-full-circle' moment for him as India exorcised its demons in the ICC tournaments in Barbados.
Speaking to reporters after the match, Dravid joked that he was unemployed from the next week and if there were any offers.
Quizzed if he will be able to move on from the massive win, Dravid quipped:"Yeah, I will be. I mean, next week life will be same for me. I'll be unemployed, that'll be the only difference."
Responding to laughing journalists, he added, "Any offers?"

Dravid instils belief in Indian cricket
Dravid's contract as the head coach has expired after the World Cup and he has not applied for an extension. The former Indian captain had made it clear in advance that he will not be seeking another term after BCCI extended his contract post the50-over World Cup in 2023.
Under Dravid's tenure, India cultivated a selfless brand of cricket that had been missing for some years. Additionally, the team reached the finals of the World Test Championship and the World Cup at homewhere they just fell shy of the ultimate glory.
Asked about Dravid's tenure coming to an end, captain Rohit Sharma said he wanted 'The Wall' to stay.
"I tried to persuade him to stay, but there are obviously various factors he needs to consider. Nevertheless, I cherished the time spent with him," said Rohit.
Dravid returned the favour by stating that he would miss Rohit as a person, regarding him more than just a captain or player.
"I will miss him as a person, forget the cricket, forget the captain and everything. I just hope we will still be friends."
After Dravid's departure, former World Cup-winning player, Gautam Gambhir, is being touted as the next Indian team head coach. Gambhir has reportedly interviewed in front of the top BCCI brass and an announcement is likely in the coming days regarding his appointment.
