He continued, &ldquo;I loved being UN ambassador, don&rsquo;t get me wrong, but it just doesn&rsquo;t compare.&rdquo;
Bolton also suggested the move was rushed. He believes the decision to reassign Waltz came after Representative Elise Stefanik&rsquo;s nomination for the UN ambassador role was withdrawn. That, he said, left Trump with fewer options.

As of now, Waltz has not been officially replaced. Instead, Secretary of State Marco Rubio will act as interim national security adviser, in addition to his current duties.
Bolton called the situation strange, &ldquo;An organised White House would announce the successor immediately, and the fact that they didn&rsquo;t have a successor shows that they were not ready to make the announcement.&rdquo;

John Bolton became Trump's third NSA in just 14 months of his first term. This Bush-era defence hawk and former United Nations ambassador backed attacking North Korea and Iran, to ensure the president has "the full range of options". However, this bonhomie was soon gone with both men turning so bitter against each other that they even disagreed over how they parted ways - Trump announced on X&nbsp;that he had fired the adviser, while&nbsp;Bolton maintained that he resigned of his own accord. The major point of difference between them arose in handling major foreign policy challenges like Iran, North Korea and Afghanistan. He served in the Trump cabinet for 17 months.

Starmer conceded that the loss of a safe Labour parliamentary seat to Reform was &ldquo;disappointing&rdquo;, but defended taking what he called the &ldquo;tough but right&rdquo; economic decisions. &ldquo;The reason that we took the tough but right decisions in the budget was because we inherited a broken economy,&rdquo; he said. &ldquo;Maybe other prime ministers would have walked past that, pretended it wasn&rsquo;t there &hellip; I took the choice to make sure our economy was stable.&rdquo;

Despite the public spat, the two seemed to patch things up, with Musk becoming a regular figure at the White House under Trump&rsquo;s latest administration.
Trump has jokingly commented in the past about Musk&rsquo;s constant presence. &ldquo;Elon won&rsquo;t go home. I can&rsquo;t get rid of him,&rdquo; he said in November 2024. &ldquo;Until I don&rsquo;t like him,&rdquo; he added.

Musk has now stepped back from his regular White House visits and is focusing more on Tesla, which has been going through a rough patch lately.

He added that according to Trump's executive order, federal agencies will take "appropriate action to ensure that intimate spaces designated for women, girls, or females (or for men, boys, or males) are designated by sex and not identity."
It further demanded to stop any gender transition medical treatments for inmates.&nbsp;
It said that the US Justice Department "shall ensure that no Federal funds are expended for any medical procedure, treatment, or drug for the purpose of confirming an inmate&rsquo;s appearance to that of the opposite sex."

Miller stressed that it is child abuse to change a child's gender, particularly in the case you are not informing their parents.&nbsp;
He added that the state and local law enforcement are stemming from teachers who support children identifying with a gender other than the one they were assigned at birth.&nbsp;
"It is child abuse to change a child's gender, particularly if you do not inform the parents otherwise, if a five-year-old or a six-year-old goes to school, or a seven-year-old goes to school, and the teacher tries to turn the boy into a girl, or the girl into a boy, that is child abuse, and this administration is treating that as child abuse and is a gross violation of parental rights," Miller said.&nbsp;
Miller's comments came after Attorney General Pam Bondi in April announced that the Trump administration would rescind federal funding from Maine's Department of Corrections after it allowed a biological man who identifies as a woman to remain in a women's prison facility.&nbsp;
"We pulled all nonessential funding from the Department of Corrections in Maine because they were allowing a man in a woman's prison, a giant 6-foot-1, 245-pound guy who committed a double murder with a knife, stabbed his parents to death and the family dog, and, he identified as a woman," Bondi said in an interview with "Fox &amp; Friends".&nbsp;
"So, they were letting him be housed in a female prison? No longer. We will pull your funding. We will protect women in prison," she added.&nbsp;
