When the staff deny, the man pulls out a box of KFC chicken and starts eating it inside the eatery.&nbsp;In a video message, Cenzo said that “he stepped over their line and began to eat chicken in a vegan restaurant, which had a Hindu-associated community. My actions were ill-timed, irresponsible and after doing research on the restaurant... That restaurant is dominated by Hindu people, where they believe in no violence and peaceful behaviours towards animals as well.”&nbsp;He added, “My actions came off as offensive towards to community, and I would like to come here and offer a heartfelt, sincere apology for my actions.”&nbsp;Cenzo further said, “You know, I don’t think out of being able to carry on calling myself a good person and then see myself, even though it’s unintentional. But seeing myself upset and offend a very big community, and just saying nothing about it, and just continuing with my videos and acting like nothing’s happened. The jet that crashed was made in China and was on a routine training mission when it went down and hit the college.&nbsp;Along with other people, the pilot, Flight Lieutenant Towkir Islam Sagar, was also killed in the deadly incident.&nbsp;Notably, the BAF has witnessed several crashes in three decades, according to a report by Dhaka Tribune. The Peixin chefs used non-edible paint to “enhance the look” of the meals in an attempt to draw more students. It was later found that the food samples contained 2,000 times more lead than the national safety limit.&nbsp;Eight people were initially detained for their involvement in serving poisonous food to children. Six of them, including kindergarten’s principal, an investor, and cooks, were arrested, the report said.&nbsp;In addition, 10 officials will face “formal accounting procedures”, and 17 others are under disciplinary investigation.&nbsp;On July 8, authorities said that 235 children from the privately-owned kindergarten were being treated in hospital due to lead poisoning. Both Arhat Mahinda Thero and Arhat Sangamitta Therani were instrumental in introducing and establishing Buddha Sasana in Sri Lanka. In fact, we wanted to fill that void by expressing our gratitude to that great Emperor in some way. One significant initiative under this grant is the on-going project to provide free solar electrification for nearly 10,000 Buddhist temples and Pirivenas (monastic colleges) across Sri Lanka.&nbsp;In another landmark decision, “the Government of India accorded classical language status to Pali last year—a decision warmly welcomed by Buddhist scholars in Sri Lanka. The High Commission of India was actively promoting the Pali language here, including republishing ancient grammar treatises such as Namamala and Balawatharo,” said Jha.&nbsp;The High Commissioner added that during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent visit, he announced assistance for the Anuradhapura Sacred City Complex Project and pledged support for the exposition in Sri Lanka of the Sacred Relics of Lord Buddha from Devnimori, Gujarat.&nbsp;“Previously, sacred relics from Sarnath and Kapilavastu have also been displayed in Sri Lanka, allowing devotees to pay homage. Most recently, it was due to timely objections raised by the Government of India that the auctioning of sacred gem relics of Lord Buddha in Hong Kong was postponed. The Government took swift and comprehensive action to halt the sale, emphasising its illegality and calling for the relics’ return to their rightful place in India, where they were discovered in Piprahwa in 1898. Once these relics are repatriated, devotees from across the world—including Sri Lanka—will have the opportunity to pay their respects,” said the High Commissioner.&nbsp;&nbsp;Regarding the selection of Waskaduwa Sri Subhuthi Viharaya as the construction site for the replica of Ashoka Pillar in Sri Lanka, Dr. Damenda Porage said that the temple is highly significant for this because it is where the authentic and sacred Kapilavastu relics of the Buddha are housed. “Waskaduwa Sri Subhuthi Viharaya houses the holy and authentic relics of the Buddha. Moreover, Maha Nayaka Waskaduwe Mahindawansa Thero is ever grateful to India for their support to Sri Lanka throughout millennia. The Thero often reminds them with utmost gratitude and often cherishes the ties between the two countries. The 6th Kyabje Yongzin Ling Rinpoche (1903-1983) was a highly revered figure, serving as the 97th Ganden Throne Holder (Gaden Tripa) and the senior tutor to the 14th Dalai Lama. The current, 7th incarnation, born in 1985, is also a prominent figure, at Drepung Loseling Monastic University, Karnataka. Both Arhat Mahinda Thero and Arhat Sangamitta Therani were instrumental in introducing and establishing Buddha Sasana in Sri Lanka. Although the contribution of Emperor Ashoka in building the Sri Lankan Buddhist civilisation is monumental, it is hardly recognised. In fact, we wanted to fill that void by expressing our gratitude to that great Emperor in some way. After discussing with Maha Sangha, they suggested that a replica of Ashoka Pillar be erected at our temple premises. In one-and-a-half years’ time, we could complete the construction of the pillar,” said the Mahanayaka Thero. In his address, the Indian High Commissioner Santosh Jha said that this initiative has further strengthened the cultural and spiritual ties between India and Sri Lanka. Most recently, it was due to timely objections raised by the Government of India that the auctioning of sacred gem relics of Lord Buddha in Hong Kong was postponed. The Government took swift and comprehensive action to halt the sale, emphasising its illegality and calling for the relics’ return to their rightful place in India, where they were discovered in Piprahwa in 1898. Once these relics are repatriated, devotees from across the world—including Sri Lanka—will have the opportunity to pay their respects,” said the High Commissioner. Regarding the selection of Waskaduwa Sri Subhuthi Viharaya as the construction site for the replica of Ashoka Pillar in Sri Lanka, Dr. Damenda Porage said that the temple is highly significant for this because it is where the authentic and sacred Kapilavastu relics of the Buddha are housed. “Waskaduwa Sri Subhuthi Viharaya houses the holy and authentic relics of the Buddha. Moreover, Maha Nayaka Waskaduwe Mahindawansa Thero is ever grateful to India for their support to Sri Lanka throughout millennia. The Thero often reminds them with utmost gratitude and often cherishes the ties between the two countries. It is Maha Nayaka Thero who often wanted to show gratitude to India for her great support to our country,” said Dr. Porage. This discovery is a big deal as it gives scientists better scope to counter the swarm as a whole instead of tackling each one individually. Coca-Cola on Tuesday (July 22) confirmed that it will release a new Coke made with cane sugar, as US President Donald Trump last week claimed that he persuaded the company to replace high-fructose corn syrup. Coca-Cola, in its earnings report, announced that it will launch an offering made with US cane sugar. The company stated, "part of its ongoing innovation agenda,” it will launch in the fall an “offering made with US cane sugar” as part of its product range. Notably, some versions of Coke have already been using cane sugar, including Coca-Cola sold in Mexico. “This addition is designed to complement the company’s strong core portfolio and offer more choices across occasions and preferences,” Coca-Cola said in a statement. Later today, the company will reveal more details on its earnings call with Wall Street analysts. Coca-Cola produced for the US market is typically sweetened with corn syrup. Notably, in the US, Coca-Cola made with cane sugar is colloquially known as "Mexican Coke." The company added that the Coke made with US cane sugar will complement the company's existing product line. Last week, the US president asked Coca-Cola to start using cane sugar in their drinks. “I have been speaking to Coca-Cola about using REAL Cane Sugar in Coke in the United States, and they have agreed to do so,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social. "This will be a very good move by them - you'll see. It's just better!" However, Dr Dariush Mozaffarian, a cardiologist and director of the Food is Medicine Institute at the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University, stressed that "both high-fructose corn syrup and cane sugar are about 50% fructose, 50% glucose, and have identical metabolic effects." Meanwhile, its rival company PepsiCo, hasn't announced any changes. But, its newly announced prebiotic soda contains cane sugar. “Sugar is more expensive in the US than in many parts of the world, so I think there is a conversation with the government probably on how do we make sugar more affordable in the US, how do we have a farming strategy probably that reduces the cost of sugar and that will facilitate a lot of the transition for us and for the whole industry,” PepsiCo CEO Ramon Laguarta said on CNBC last week.
