Poland horror: Woman held as 'sex slave' has no lips or teeth; captor carried out 'cruel experiments'

A man in Poland has been arrested for inflicting horrible atrocities on a woman whom he reportedly kept as a sex slave in a barn for four years.Mateusz Jach has been accused of carrying out experiments on the woman and raping her. Doctors alerted the authorities when she came into the hospital with terrible facial damage.

The 35-year-old man was charged last week with mental, physical and sexual abuse. The story came out in the open after the woman arrived at the hospital to be treated for a dislocated shoulder.

The woman is in her thirties and has been identified only by her first name, Malgorzata. At the hospital, she started telling fellow patients about her condition and how she wasrepeatedly raped and tortured and kept locked inside the outbuilding in the village of Glogow, west Poland.

Doctors examined her and found that she was so brutally treated that she had lost all her teeth and had no lips. Her body was also covered with several bruises and scars.

Malgorzata's account of the events over the last four years hint at the possibility that Jach was conducting some kind of experiments on her.

Poland horror case

This was not the first time that Malgorzatawas admitted to the hospital. She had been there several times to be treated for various injuries, including the time she had a baby. However, Malgorzatawas so scared of her captor that she never told anyone anything.

But last week, when Malgorzatareached the hospital with horrifying injuries on her face, she started talking to others there. The doctors alerted the police and Jach was arrested. An investigation into the matter has been launched and he is now being held in Glogow prison.

Her baby was put up for adoption, reportedly against her wishes.

People close to the probe told MailOnline that "she is in a really serious condition, both physically and psychologically."

"From what we heard, the girl does not have lips now because of everything he had done to her. Her face is covered in bruises and she just has an open hole without the lips," they added.

'The woman said he [Jach] was doing some kind of trial on her. He was experimenting on her. He was trying out different things on her."

The woman has now been moved to a specialist hospital, which is possibly a psychiatric hospital, the sources said.

Parents claim there was no woman

The couple reportedly met on a dating app in 2019. They got together and he took her to a farm where his parents also lived. Here she was raped and tortured but Jach's parents, who live just a few steps away, claim they never heard of any woman there.

His father told Polish media outlet Onet, "My wife and I really didn't see any girl here. It's a shock for us. It's impossible. It couldn't have lasted years, maybe a few months, but not that long, because it would have been revealed sooner."

His mother also claims that no woman ever lived there. She told CrowdMedia that her husband was hospitalised in Zielona Góra for two and a half months and their son went to see him. She argued, "If she was there and knew that he was leaving by himself in the car, why didn't she shout? Why didn't she knock?"

Jach now faces up to 25 years in jail.
