Ocean's 8 poster release: Anne Hathaway looks like Amal Clooney

The crime action-thriller film "Ocean's Eleven"now has a female version and it's called "Ocean's Eight".

Apart from being almost-identical to its original,male-version, "Ocean's 8"poster has something more.

If you don't read the credits clearly, you will almost miss "The Princess Diaries"actress Anne Hathaway -- not because she is not given prominence on the poster but because she looks uncannily similar to George Clooney's barrister wife Amal Clooney.

And since George Clooney plays an important part of the Ocean's Trilogy, you would almost assume that his wife would be cast in the female spin-off of the film. Also, considering that the women-focused film features a lineup ofHollywood's most badass women — ranging from Rihanna to Sandra Bullock to Mindy Kaling to Awkwafina. It would have made perfect sense to cast the real-life feisty lawyer for the film.

Ocean's 8is aheistcomedyfilm directed byGary Rossand written by Ross and Olivia Milch. It is both a sequel and female spin-off of the Ocean's Trilogy.
