The United States has circulated a draft resolution at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) seeking full access to Iran’s bombed nuclear sites and clarification on the status of its enriched uranium stockpiles. The move comes amid mounting concerns that inspectors have been unable to verify the condition or location of key nuclear materials after recent strikes. IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi has warned that much of Iran’s highly enriched uranium is believed to remain inside the country, but its exact whereabouts and condition cannot be independently confirmed without on-site inspections.
