US Port Strikes May Hamper Boeing & Airbus Assembly Lines

US plane makers Boeing and Airbus are facing fresh challenges as dockworkers on the east and gulf coasts go on strike. Over 45,000 workers from the international longshoremen's association have shut down key ports, disrupting critical supply chains. While Boeing is already grappling with a labour dispute at its seattle-area facilities, this new strike could further delay the delivery of parts needed for aircraft production.
