A seventh United States soldier has died from injuries sustained during Iran’s counter-attack on a base in Saudi Arabia, marking another deadly escalation in the ongoing conflict. The US military confirmed that the service member succumbed to wounds days after the strike, raising the number of American troops killed in the war with Iran to seven.
The attack was part of Iran’s initial retaliation against US and Israeli operations in the region. The growing death toll highlights the rising risks for American forces stationed across the Middle East as tensions between Washington and Tehran continue to intensify.
