Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces (RSF), one of the main rebel factions in the ongoing conflict, have officially agreed to a humanitarian truce proposal mediated by the US-led Quad nations. The truce aims to halt hostilities temporarily to allow humanitarian aid to reach civilians affected by years of fierce fighting that have devastated the country.
