The PML-N supreme leader presided over the formal party meeting at Jati Umra in Lahore for the first time in four years as the court revived former prime minister Nawaz Sharif's appeals with "all legal consequences" and upheld the caretaker government of Punjab's decision to suspend Sharif's sentence in the Al-Azizia case.
