Norovirus, also known as the “winter vomiting disease,” is surging across the United States this season. Highly contagious, it causes sudden vomiting and diarrhea, making it extremely unpleasant. WastewaterSCAN reports a 45% rise in concentrations since November, with hotspots in the Midwest and Northeast, including California, Connecticut, Indiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, and New Jersey.
