French President Emmanuel Macron has pushed back on Donald Trump’s claims about the ongoing war in Iran.
After a G7 video call, Macron said he had “no confirmation” that Iran was laying mines in the Strait of Hormuz. He also clarified that while Iran’s military has suffered damage, it has not been reduced to zero, contradicting Trump’s statements that there is “practically nothing left” to target.
