India: Top Court Grills Government for Slow Response As Delhi Battles Toxic Air
As Delhi's air quality plummeted to "severe plus" category on Monday, the Supreme Court of India pulled up the authorities for delayed responses. The Apex Court instructed authorities that the Stage IV measures of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) should remain in effect, even if the Air Quality Index (AQI) in the national capital and surrounding areas drops below the threshold of 450.
