China Finds Critical Quartz In Tibet

Chinese researchers discovered a massive, high-purity quartz deposit in the Dinggye area of the Tibet autonomous region. By analyzing local leucogranites, scientists successfully extracted impurities to achieve a silicon dioxide purity of 99.995%.
