The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to secure a historic third consecutive term in Haryana, winning 41 seats in the state assembly elections. Meanwhile, the Congress party trails with 33 seats in a closely contested race. In Jammu and Kashmir, the National Conference-Congress alliance is on course to form the next government, having secured a combined total of 48 seats in the J&K Assembly polls. These results mark significant political shifts in both regions, with the BJP consolidating its hold in Haryana, and the National Conference-Congress alliance gaining power in Jammu and Kashmir.
