<p>A 50-year-old American woman who was found chained to a tree in a forest in Maharashtra's Sindhudurg district on Saturday (July 27), had shackled herself, police and her doctor&nbsp;told the BBC.</p>

<p>Because of the malfunction, the passengers got stuck in what can be called a veritable steam room as the crew members made all efforts to solve the issue.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“We were hot and couldn’t breathe. At least in a sauna, you can leave when you want. This was like a form of torture," she said.&nbsp;</p>

<h2><strong>Passenger&nbsp;suffers panic attack, others sweat profusely&nbsp;</strong></h2>

<p>Meanwhile, another passenger said that the conditions inside the plane were sweltering because of which one passenger suffered a panic attack while others were sweating profusely.</p>

<p>Also, no food or water was provided to the passengers in those hours which made the matter worse, said Maksaen.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Water was given to the passengers by a flight attendant after two hours and the door was opened to let fresh air in.</p>

<p>Because no technicians were available the passengers were asked to deplane at 11 pm (local time) after needlessly unnecessarily remaining stuck in the hot aircraft.</p>

<p>After the passengers were deplaned, they were given two unenviable choices. “We could either sleep in the airport until the rescheduled flight or take a bus to find a hotel,” said Maksaen.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“Myself and a lot of the other passengers went to the bus station to wait for transportation to a hotel. There was no help from the airline, and the last group of passengers waited aimlessly until the last three buses arrived at 2 a.m.," she said.</p>

<p>In 2021, the husband filed for divorce but the wife promised that she would work on their relationship, so the man decided to withdraw the lawsuit and also took the significant step of registering their property in her name.</p>

<p>However, the husband complained that his wife continued to abuse him emotionally and also demanded a fee of NT$500 (US$15) every time he wanted to have sex with her.</p>

<p>However, the wife did not want the divorce and hence, filed an appeal in the higher court which was rejected.</p>

<p>This is not the first such case to have been reported in Taiwan.</p>

<p>A similar case had emerged in Taiwan in 2014 in which a wife charged her husband NT$2,000 (US$60) for sex and also charged a fee for chats and meals.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The wife said that she charged her husband - who was a truck driver - because he did not make any financial contribution to the family.</p>

<p>In a new research paper, the researchers made a stunning claim that a layer of the Gunung Padang pyramid in&nbsp;Indonesia was built in 25,000 BC while raising doubts about whether the construction was man-made at all.</p>

<p>In the paper, the academics stated that “the pyramid’s core consists of meticulously sculpted massive andesite lava” and that the “oldest construction” element of the pyramid “likely originated as a natural lava hill before being sculpted and then architecturally enveloped”.</p>

<p>“This study sheds light on advanced masonry skills dating back to the last glacial period. This finding challenges the conventional belief that human civilisation and the development of advanced construction techniques emerged only … with the advent of agriculture approximately 11,000 years ago," they wrote.</p>

<p>Zhu Yuting is the First Prosecution Department of the People’s Procuratorate of Baoying County's assistant prosecutor.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“While he was walking, his face suddenly turned black, his legs weakened, and he collapsed on the floor," he added.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Li was taken to the hospital, but the doctors declared him dead. In the investigations, it was found that Wang had no formal acupuncture training.</p>
