Bling's the thing and for rappers it's part of their statement. But move over shiny medallions dangling around the neck. A rapper has taken the business to the next level.

Cool haircuts are passe. Colouring your hair is oh-so-common. The next level thing is to replace all your hair. And while you're at it, why not use gold chains for that extra glitz.

Dan Sur has done just that. He is a rapper in Mexico. The 23-year-old recently got his hair replaced with gold chains through surgery.

The reason?

He wanted to do something different and he says that nobody has ever done it. He underwent the surgery in April this year and his Instagram page has his goldilocks everywhere. As per New York Post, It appears that Dan Sur is the first rapper in history to have chain hair.

The rapper even wrote in one of his video posts that he wanted to do something different since colouring hair was something everybody did. He may be the first one to have had chain hair but he doesn't want people to immediately start aping his style.

What next? Rap battle with 2 Chainz?

To be living in a sports car-flying, high-octane-chase frequenting Free City (an actual city, mostly) and growing restless with its mundanity? What a shame! Perhaps not, Guy (Ryan Reynolds) wakes up with a plastic smile plastered on his face every morning, gets coffee on his way to the bank he works for, mouths the catch sentence “Don’t have a good day. Have a great day!” before heading to the beach for beers with buddy, Buddy (Lil Rel Howery). He may be oblivious to his greatness, but, in a parallel universe, everyone’s worshipping this Blue Shirt Guy—the human-coined moniker bestowed upon him—and just how incredibly nice he is in this otherwise venom-spewing world. Turns out—just like Utopia—he is a myth and his happiness, programmed.

Depending on whose narrative you buy into, Guy is somewhere between the first every Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the gaming world to ‘live and feel’ and/or an algorithm ‘who thinks he is alive’. Either way, he is crucial to Keys (Joe Keery) and Millie’s (Jodie Comer) exposé circling gaming company Soonami’s head honcho, Antwan (Taika Waititi).

Not here to give a crash course on complex gaming mechanisms, director Shawn Levy not-so-smoothly ushers us into the chaotic world of Free Guy—a game at the centre of a lawsuit between Antwan and Millie. Levy’s gaming universe is built on two extremes—the gun-brandishing goons and the peace loving non-playing characters aka N.P.Cs aka sidekicks to main players—and he spears no time in explaining who’s what. The baddies look ghastly and brutal, and do ghastly and brutal. The sweethearts are preachy to the point that they are indigestible. However, it is the metaphors and underlying themes that stand a fair chance of resonating with Reynolds’ fan base: the blurring lines between the reel and real world, a man’s capability of pulling himself out of obscurity and be a ‘hero’, the lives of nerds who drown themselves in the characters they play ("Mom, don’t touch my socks!" says one, in the middle of an intense online battle).

Frankly, Ryan Reynolds’ ‘too handsome’ avatar devouring bubble gum ice-creams and imparting lessons on non-violence is too mushy even by his standards. But, boy… that man’s got charm. And, taking that charm to a whole new level is Jodie Comer’s dual personality—of earthly Millie and the other-worldly Molotov Girl. In today’s digital crazed setting, one scene, sadly, sticks out as oddly familiar—when the actress’ gamer version confesses that she can no longer tell the two worlds apart. If you know, you know.

Venice Film Festival: John Arcilla wins Best Actor for 'On The Job: The Missing 8'

It's a wrap of Tom Cruise' 'Mission Impossible 7'.

The filming comes to an end after more than a year of shooting, and multiple delays and shutdowns amid the Covid-19 crisis.

Making the announcement, director Christopher McQuarrie took to Instagram to express his gratitude to the cast and crew, who have gone through enormous tough conditions for the movie.

Sharing a picture of himself with lead actor and co-producer Tom Cruise, Christopher wrote, “All you need is good people. To our indomitable, unstoppable, unrelenting cast and crew: Even under the best of circumstances, it should have been impossible. Even having seen it, we can’t believe what you’ve achieved. Words can never adequately express our gratitude and admiration – not only to you, but to your loved ones. You are the best in the world.”

Pandemic was the biggest hurdle for the production of the movie, which spanned across Italy, Norway, and England. There were several scenes that had to be shot through relocations, across different cities and even the country was changed due to host protocols and restrictions during the production phase.

Paolo Sorrentino`s film about the death of his own parents, Jane Campion's 1920s frontier saga and a hard-hitting French tale of abortion are among contenders for the top prize at the Venice Film Festival on Saturday, with the race seen wide open.

Film critics agreed the main competition line-up of 21 titles, which included Kristen Stewart`s turn as Princess Diana in 'Spencer', was one of the strongest in recent memory as many movies were held back during the coronavirus pandemic.

Kirsten Dunst, Jesse Plemons welcomed second son four months ago

Outside the competition, and ineligible for awards, were Denis Villeneuve`s remake of a science fiction classic 'Dune' and Ridley Scott`s medieval epic 'The Last Duel'.

Those two pictures bumped up the star-power - a vital ingredient to a successful festival, and even more so after last year`s subdued edition. Ben Affleck - holding hands with Jennifer Lopez - Matt Damon, Timothee Chalamet, Stewart and Penelope Cruz were among the A-listers on the red carpet.

COVID-19 restrictions meant fans were kept at a distance from celebrities - though Chalamet jumped over a security fence to sign autographs and pose for pictures with a screaming crowd.

There were fewer, smaller parties and, with theatres running at half capacity, many attendees struggled to book seats through the mandatory online platform. But the buzz was back.

"I thought the line-up looked phenomenal going in and it has mainly held up," said Scott Roxborough of The Hollywood Reporter, lauding the mix of Hollywood, big-budget movies with more intimate, auteur films such as "Reflection", a Ukrainian film about the war against Russian-backed separatists in the east.

He said his favourite film was ''Official Competition'', an Argentine satire that rips into the cinema industry and is also vying for the Golden Lion top award.

A summary of film reviews by Italian critics on the Lido waterfront gave Sorrentino's 'The Hand Of God', also popular with foreign reviewers, the highest score.

"Sorrentino looks like a good compromise pick," said Italian freelance journalist Paola Jacobbi, a Venice veteran, though she added that much would depend on the quirks of the jury, led this year by South Korea`s "Parasite" director Bong Joon-ho.

Other films praised by critics included Paul Schrader's 'The Card Counter', the story of a soldier turned card player with flashbacks to the Abu Ghraib prison, and Russia's 'Captain Volkonogov Escaped', about a state executioner having a crisis of conscience.
"I was diagnosed with depression in 2014. I used to feel weird that people don't talk about it. It was a stigma and people don't even know much about it. During that time, I realized that if I am experiencing this, then there would be many people out there facing depression as well. My ambition in life was that if I could save just one life, then my purpose was solved. We have come a long way now," she reportedly said.

When Bachchan asked her as to how she realized she was depressed, Deepika reportedly said, "Suddenly mujhe aise laga ki mere paet mein ek ajeeb sa feeling hota tha, ek khaalipan mein mehsoos karti thi (I used to get a very weird feeling, like there was an emptiness inside me)." The actress added, "I didn't feel like going to work or meeting anybody. I did not want to go out. I didn't feel like doing anything. Many times, I don't know if I should say this but I didn't feel like living anymore. I felt like I had no purpose."
