<p>The Beverly Hills Police Department was quoted as saying by New York Post&nbsp;that the infant appeared to be in good health.</p>

<p>The baby was taken to a hospital for a routine checkup following which the case was handed over to the Los Angeles Police Department by the police in Beverly Hills.</p>

<p>The Police are now attempting to determine if the incident qualifies as a safe surrender.</p>

<p>According to the California Department of Social Services, "The Safely Surrendered Baby law (California Health and Safety Code, section 1255.7) provides a safe alternative for the surrender of a newborn baby in specified circumstances. Under the Safely Surrendered Baby law, a parent or person with lawful custody can safely surrender a baby confidentially, and without fear of prosecution, within 72 hours of birth."</p>

<p>At the time of the surrender, the appropriate authorities place a bracelet on the baby for identification purposes. The same bracelet is given to the parent or lawful guardian.</p>

<p>"A medical questionnaire must be offered, however, it is a voluntary document and can be declined. <p>"Spanning a period from 2nd-3rd century CE to 18-19th century CE, the artefacts are made of terracotta, stone, metal and wood. Around 50 artefacts relate to religious subjects (Hinduism, Jainism and Islam) and the rest are of cultural significance," the readout added.</p>

Additionally, unseasonal rainstorms in May and an early onset of the monsoon led to the failure of tomato production in Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. Consequently, tomatoes have become expensive in these regions. Furthermore, the heavy rainfall spells have disrupted the vegetable supply chain, resulting in a further increase in prices for not only tomatoes but also almost all agricultural produce,” Singh told<strong> WION</strong>.</p>

Described as Italy's worst-ever employee, Cinzia Paolina De Lio managed to collect pay cheques for the better part of the last two decades while remaining absent at work.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The disgraced teacher was finally sacked on June 22, according to Daily Mail. Italy's highest&nbsp;court confirmed her ouster by stating her absences showed a "permanent and absolute ineptitude".</p>

<p>On the rare occasion that Cinzia did turn up to work, she ignored the students, made up lessons on the spot and borrowed textbooks as she couldn't be bothered to bring them. Reportedly, students went on strike one time after&nbsp;Cinzia handed out marks that had no connection to the work handed in. She remained distracted while conducting oral exams and sent text messages instead.&nbsp;</p>

<p>After being sacked by the school,&nbsp;Cinzia said she will tell her side of the story. However, in what can be only called an irony, she refused to entertain the&nbsp;journalists asking questions, saying she was at the 'beach'.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Sorry, but right now I'm at the beach," she told&nbsp;Repubblica newspaper, adding that she had documents to prove her side of the story.&nbsp;</p>

<p>66-year-old&nbsp;Scumace was assigned to work in the fire emergency operations of the Pugliese Ciaccio hospital, in the city of Catanzaro, Calabria. However, apart from turning up on the first day to sign the documents of his employment, he never showed up and quietly cashed in the cheques.&nbsp;</p>

<p>When a manager caught a whiff of Scumace's elaborate scam, he resorted to threatening them and their family.&nbsp;</p>

He described her settling in well, exploring the island with her fellow chimps and often perching atop a three-story climbing platform to survey her new world.</p>

<p>Save the Chimps, a sanctuary dedicated to providing refuge for primates rescued from various backgrounds such as exotic pet trade, roadside zoos, laboratories, and the entertainment industry, currently cares for 226 chimps. Some of these chimpanzees, like Vanilla, have never had the opportunity to interact with their own species before. Vanilla's island is home to 18 other chimps, with whom she has formed positive relationships.</p>

However, in 2019, the refuge faced closure due to wildfires, prompting the relocation of nearly 480 animals, including 42 chimpanzees. Vanilla, along with her family group, embarked on a cross-country journey to Florida, facilitated by the FedEx Cares program and Pero Family Farms. Also read | What makes us human? The pair developed a playful relationship, with Vanilla even playfully stealing food from Dwight. Dr. Andrew Halloran, a primatologist from Save the Chimps, shared that Vanilla's new enclosure represents a significant improvement compared to her previous living conditions in California. He described her settling in well, exploring the island with her fellow chimps and often perching atop a three-story climbing platform to survey her new world. Save the Chimps, a sanctuary dedicated to providing refuge for primates rescued from various backgrounds such as exotic pet trade, roadside zoos, laboratories, and the entertainment industry, currently cares for 226 chimps. Some of these chimpanzees, like Vanilla, have never had the opportunity to interact with their own species before. Vanilla's island is home to 18 other chimps, with whom she has formed positive relationships.
