It is a new recording of her 1989 album. This version&nbsp;has now become a top-selling album in all of America for 2023. These numbers were recorded just one week after the album came out.&nbsp;

Besides being top-selling, the album has topped the Billboard 200, along with the vinyl albums and streaming albums charts this week.&nbsp;

Taylor Swift has now become the only artist ever to achieve this feat. She now has six number-1 album debuts with over 1 million units sold in history. 1989 (Taylor’s Version) has now surpassed the 2014 first-week sales of 1989, making it the first Taylor Version to net a bigger debut than the original.

1989 (Taylor’s Version) is Taylor Swift’s fourth rerelease of her earlier albums.

This came after Taylor had a fallout with manager Scooter Braun as he acquired Big Machine Records and took control of her masters.

She then started rerecording her songs and started naming them after the original albums and adding the bit “Taylor’s Version”.

The rerecorded albums have been super successful. She previously dropped Fearless (Taylor’s Version), Red (Taylor’s Version) and Speak Now (Taylor’s Version).&nbsp;

The single-day record for a single artist that she broke was her own, Spotify said. Swift had set the previous record for an individual artist last October 21, when her last album, Midnight came out.&nbsp;

On Spotify’s daily US top 50 ranking, the 21 tracks on the standard edition of 1989 (Taylor’s Version) occupy all 21 positions.

On the streamer’s global top 50 chart, the album is almost rocking every other album. The first 17 songs on that chart are all from 1989 (Taylor’s Version).

Taylor Swift makes record for most single-day streams with ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’

Billboard Music Awards nominations are out and Taylor Swift, as expected, leads with 20 nods. Taylor’s number is followed by SZA and Morgan Wallen, who each have 17 nominations in place.&nbsp;

Other big stars who have an impressive list of nominations this year are The Weeknd with 16 nods, Drake with 14, and Zach Bryan who has 14 nominations in 13 categories.&nbsp;

Billboard Music Awards will reveal their winners list on November 19. It was previously announced that there would not be any traditional broadcast but only reveals on the official social media channels of Billboard and BBMAs.&nbsp;

In addition to this change, there are nine new categories this year. The new categories include Top Hot 100 Songwriter, Top Hot 100 Producer, Top Rock Duo/Group, Top Global K-Pop Artist, Top K-Pop Tour, Top K-Pop Album, Top Global K-Pop Song, Top Afrobeats Artist and Top Afrobeats Song.

Billboard Music Awards nominations are out and Taylor Swift, as expected, leads with 20 nods. Taylor’s number is followed by SZA and Morgan Wallen, who each have 17 nominations in place.

Billboard Music Awards nominations are out and Taylor Swift, as expected, leads with 20 nods. Taylor’s number is followed by SZA and Morgan Wallen, who each have 17 nominations in place. Other big stars who have an impressive list of nominations this year are The Weeknd with 16 nods, Drake with 14, and Zach Bryan who has 14 nominations in 13 categories. Billboard Music Awards will reveal their winners list on November 19. For the first time in Taylor's Version From the Vault&nbsp;history, there will be no collaborators on any of the vault tracks. There are 5 brand-new vault tracks in total. Additionally, the song Sweeter Than Fiction (Taylor's Version)&nbsp;which will only be available on the tangerine vinyl version of the album.

The song picked up after it featured on her blockbuster hit film The Eras Tour. Streaming for her entire catalogue rose substantially in the week following the film’s release.&nbsp;

Taylor cashed in on this instant popularity as on October 18 she announced that there will be two new versions of the song: a live recording excerpted from the new movie, “Cruel Summer (Live from Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour),” and a remix, “Cruel Summer (LP Giobbi Remix).” They were bundled together as an EP titled “The Cruelest Summer.”

Killers of the Flower Moon has collected $23 million from 3,628 North American theatres over the weekend. Its global collection sits at a total of $44 million.

Killers of the Flower Moon has been adapted from David Grann’s 2017 novel. The film tells the story of a period when mysterious murders took place after major oil deposits were discovered on the Osage nation’s land in the early 1920s.

The Martin Scorsese film is currently running in theatres in the US and will release elsewhere in a couple of days. Post its worldwide theatrical release, the film will then stream on Apple TV+.&nbsp;

As for Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour, the concert film remains in first place with $31 million. It’s the only concert film in history to repeat No. 1 for two consecutive weekends, and it’s the first to reach $100 million at the domestic box office.

And this is the thing, [theatrical exhibition is] a format and a way of seeing things and sharing stories, or sharing experiences, that’s incredibly valuable. And if [the studios] don’t want it, somebody else will. So that’s just the truth of it.”

The Eras Tour is self-produced by Taylor Swift as she worked out a deal with AMC Theatres in which she gets to take home about 57% of ticket sales, with theatres keeping the remaining revenues and AMC taking a small distribution fee. The film isn’t exclusive to AMC venues.

Nolan also said, “Any time a film succeeds that wasn’t expected to succeed, it’s an encouraging thing for Hollywood and it’s encouraging for filmmakers. There’s a tension in Hollywood between the familiar and what is predicted to make money, that’s the meat and potatoes of how the studios stay in business, and the desire among audiences for something new, something fresh.”

As the Israel-Hamas war intensifies, a security guard who was a part of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour team has now flown back to his home country. He has returned to Israel to fight against Hamas. He decided to fly back home and join the IDF reserves after he saw the deadly attacks on Israeli citizens by Hamas. He left the United States after the first strikes took place.&nbsp;

The news first broke as an Israeli journalist spotted the security guard fighting in the IDF. While the man was born in Kibbutz in Israel, he had been working in America.&nbsp;

It is not clear whether the security guard was employed by Swift or the tour stadium, or how closely he worked with the star.&nbsp;

"At the top of my lungs, I will be screaming in my seat, and dancing around, and hopefully trading more friendship bracelets,"&nbsp;said Jamie Concha, 20, at a screening in Los Angeles' Century City.

"I love every Swiftie. I think we're all very connected," she said, referring to the nickname adopted by Swift's fiercely loyal fanbase.

Shot during three recent sold-out Los Angeles shows, the film contains no interviews, commentary or behind-the-scenes footage.

Instead, the film's demand relies on drawing fans who missed out on tickets to the actual tour or want to relive the phenomenon again, up close and alongside fellow obsessives.

In the concession line before the first screening in Century City, a pair of teenage girls arrived carrying a bag stuffed with friendship bracelets, which they handed out to fellow Swifties.

The colourful, beaded accessories have become a key part of Eras&nbsp;fandom, with concertgoers creating and swapping bracelets bearing references to their favourite Swift lyrics and quotes.

The Midwest-based Marcus Theatres has even promised "friendship bracelet-making stations" at its screenings.

Almost all the moviegoers at Century City on Thursday had been to see the live shows already, and many were planning repeat viewings at the multiplex.

"I'm coming to four screenings, and I saw the concert three times," said Amber Eaves, 33.

"It was the best concert experience I've ever been to... I was crying the entire time, I had makeup streaming down my face," said Kasey Longstreet, 24.

"It was such a special night that I wanted to come back and see it again."

Domestic opening weekend box office estimates are as high as $150 million -- a record for a concert film, and numbers comparable to this summer's reigning smash hit movie, Barbie.

Theaters -- still recovering from the pandemic, and faced with a dearth of new movies thanks to the ongoing Hollywood strikes -- were also cashing in on demand for Swift merchandise Thursday.

AMC charged $19.89 -- a reference to Swift's album 1989-- for Swift-branded popcorn tins.

Staff reported fans arriving in the morning just to purchase empty soda cups, at the full price of $11.99. Some left with the maximum of five cups allowed per movie ticket.

The movie had been set to hit screens Friday, but the singer announced on Wednesday that "due to unprecedented demand," preview screenings would begin a day earlier.

"I'm already going this weekend, but when she dropped this at the last second, I was like, 'I gotta go after work, oh my god," said Eaves.

"It's just gonna be one of those cultural phenomenons that you can look back and say 'I was a part of that.'"
