'The Batman' new set photos reveal exciting details about the Robert Pattinson starrer

Robert Pattinson was spotted on the sets of 'The Batman' in UK for the first time since production was halted eralier in September when someone on set had tested positive for coronavirus.

The shutdown occurred in early September and news broke of production resuming just over two weeks later. The makers never revealed who had caught the novel virus but several reports had suggested that Pattinson himself had got infected.

The Matt Reeves directorial had just resumed work after a 6 months break due to the pandemic. The positive case came three days after the crew had resumed filming.

The 34-year-old actor reportedly returned to sets on Wednesday morning and was again spotted filming on Monday.
According to reports, the crew was filming a funeral scene alongside 'hundreds of extras' amid spikes in coronavirus cases in the UK. Media outlets pointed out that masks were not worn between takes.

"Quite a few of us are surprised to say the least that around 100 people based in a film studio in Hertfordshire are being asked to go to a high-risk area in the North West," a source told a leading UK daily. "However, to be fair to the production company, they do test for coronavirus."

"We have been told it is strictly work, eat and sleep. We even have to eat meals alone in our hotels rooms. Despite it being a Hollywood film, it is not exactly glamorous, " the source added.

The film's release has been pushed to March 2022.

Matt Reeves’ big ticket project ‘The Batman’ starring Robert Pattinson has not taken off ever since coronavirus pandemic struck the world and shut the entertainment industry completely.

The production of the film has begun earlier this year in London and the director had even teased a few BTS videos and pictures to keep the fans entertained, but looks like we are in for some change on the film’s front.

Owing to delays because of coronavirus, the film is now said to ditch real locations for the film and instead build everything in-studio. Initially, the film was supposed to restart production in a matter of a few weeks but things changed after the pandemic took an ugly turn and the film shoots kept getting delayed indefinitely.

According to Kris Tapley, the host of Netflix's ‘The Call Sheet’ podcast, ‘The Batman’ is aiming to resume work in September. However, they will not be shooting out on location, as Tapley said, "All locations scrapped." Instead, the crew is building all their necessary sets within the studio meaning we would not get the real location but some excellent set designs.

‘The Batman’ will see Robert Pattinson as the caped crusader in a first.

Revealed: Robert Pattinson's first look as Batman in his Batsuit in upcoming DC superhero film

Science is out with its list of most beautiful men in the world and it thinks that ‘Batman’ actor Robert Pattinson leads all handsome hunks out there. Forget Brad Pitt, Bradley Cooper, Henry Cavill or any heartthrob that you would have thought would take the top spot.

The rating was done based on a measure of their "physical perfection".&nbsp;

Based on the Golden ratio of Beauty Phi, the actor who got famous with his vampire role in ‘The Twilight’ series topped all.&nbsp;

The list was compiled by Harley Street facial cosmetic surgeon Dr Julian De Silva as he used the latest computerised mapping techniques.&nbsp;

The mapping technique measured the actor’s beauty based on his eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, chin, jaw and facial shape and it was found that he was 92.15 percent 'accurate' to the Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi. The study revealed that he comes closest to the ancient Greeks' idea of perfection.&nbsp;

‘The Batman’ star was followed by ‘Superman’ actor Henry Cavill who was recently seen in ‘The Witcher’ series. Henry Cavill has a 91.64 percent rating.&nbsp;

Third on the list is Bradley Cooper who follows with 91.08 percent. Brad Pitt landed at the fourth spot with a 90.51 percent rating and George Clooney is on number five with an 89.91 percent rating.&nbsp;

Other stars on the list included Hugh Jackman, David Beckham, Idris Elba, Kanye West and Ryan Gosling.

Even though the film 'The Batman' was announced last year with 'Twilight' fame actor Robert Pattinson finalised for the leading role, the production of the film hit a roadblock. The film was supposed to have Ben Affleck, who shied away from the role after his last stint as the caped crusader bombed at the box office. Then Robert was&nbsp;signed for the role and Matt Reeves was brought on to helm the project.&nbsp;

Hollywood actor Robert Pattinson who shot into the scene with the overachieving `Twilight` movie series has recently expressed some doubts over his own acting skills.

The 33-year old who has made a big name for himself in Hollywood by starring in quite a few high-grossing movies doesn`t consider himself an A-level artist and isn`t even sure whether his performances are praiseworthy, reported Fox News.

The actor told The Observer in an interview that he feels he`s quite limited in his abilities when it comes to performing his roles"I only know how to play scenes, like, three ways," said the actor.

He also revealed that he has been nervous during the filming of every single movie he has done until now."I`m nervous on, like, every single movie," he accepted.

Pattinson said he isn`t the type of actor who believes in rehearsing a scene in advance. He thinks that whenever he practiced for a scene, its final filming gets inevitably botched up.

He also tries his best to surprise his co-actors while doing scenes and if he fails to do so, he ends up feeling stupid. Pattinson prefers to shake himself up physically right before performing an intense scene. For the movie `The Lighthouse`, as the actor recalls, he had to smack himself in the face and gag on mud in order to get into the character of a lighthouse worker who slowly goes insane.

The Hollywood star is currently in London, filming for <a href="https://www.wionews.com/entertainment/batmans-not-a-superhero-says-robert-pattinson-265988">`The Batman`</a> that is expected to be released in 2021.

'Twilight' star Robert Pattinson doubts his own acting skills

While he is all geared up to play the titular role in `The Batman` movie, Robert Pattinson believes that Batman "is not a superhero!"

The `Twilight` star made the comments when he sat down for an interview with Willie Geist for the `Sunday Sitdown` segment on the `Today` show recently.&nbsp;

Justifying why he doesn`t consider the iconic comic character as a superhero, the 33-year-old continued, "It`s weird, I always balk at it. It doesn`t count."

"You need to have, like, magical powers or something," Fox News quoted Pattinson as saying.

Pattinson didn`t spill many beans about his role as Batman but hoped that it won`t propel him to the same level of fame that his 2008 film `Twilight` did.

"I mean there`s a part of me that just thinks it`s impossible to kind of be...what happened with `Twilight`. Because it was just so sudden. And now I`m kind of...I`m hoping it won`t be people hanging outside my place. I just think I`m kind of boring and old now," he explained.
The pre-production on the DC Comics adaptation is expected to start this summer. The movie is being described as having a grounded take on Batman and will feature many of his villains.It is scheduled to hit theaters on June 25, 2021.&nbsp;

Jennifer Lopez wants to take up the role of Batman, Robert Pattinson thinks it's a good idea

There`s no doubt that Bella and Edward did share amazing chemistry in the vampire feature franchise `Twilight`, and as Kristen Stewart revisited her time with co-actor and ex Robert Pattinson, she revealed that their off-screen love wasn`t fake and just as real as on-screen.

The 29-year old took a trip down the memory lane on The Howard Stern Show on Tuesday where she reflected upon her relationship with Pattinson saying that he was "the best."&nbsp;

"We were together for years, that was my first (love)," People quoted Stewart as saying.

The `Twilight` alum also admitted that she regrets how the two tried to keep themselves off any media and missed out on experiencing some candid romantic scenes.

"You deprive yourself of so many experiences. We didn`t walk down the street holding hands because we were like, `We don`t wanna give it to `em.` But then, we didn`t get to walk down the street holding hands, and it sucked," she admitted.

Stewart went on to confess to the host that there was "nothing I could do" when it came to falling head over heels for the co-actor. When the radio host asked Stewart whether she would`ve married Pattinson had he been on his knees, she didn`t answer in the negative. "I wanted to ... yeah. I don`t know, I`m not a super-duper traditionalist but at the same time ... every relationship I`ve ever been in, I thought that was it. I`ve never really been the most casual person," Stewart said.

Back in 2016, Stewart had opened up about parting ways with Pattinson where she blamed tabloids for their breakup. The two first split in 2012 after a thing between Stewart and director Rupert Sanders hogged headlines but reconciled shortly after.&nbsp;

However, the couple finally called it quits a year later in 2013. Stewart is currently dating screenwriter Dylan Meyer. On the work front, she is awaiting the release of `Charlie`s Angels` on November 15, where she will be seen sharing screen space with Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska.

Pattinson, who flew to Los Angeles for the final audition, described his experience of trying on the batsuit as "transformative" and "powerful," reported Variety."You do feel very powerful immediately," he said."And it`s pretty astonishing, something that is incredibly difficult to get into, so the ritual of getting into it is pretty humiliating. You`ve got five people trying to shove you into something," he added.

The `Twilight` actor went on to say that the batsuit made him feel "strong and tough.""Once you`ve got it on, it`s like, `Yeah, I feel strong, I feel tough, even though I had to have someone squeezing my butt cheeks into the legs`," he said.

As a result, he was terrified he would lose the part and started searching the internet for any signs that he had been cut. "When that thing leaked, I was f--ing furious. Everyone was so upset. Everyone was panicking from my team.&nbsp;

I sort of thought that had blown up the whole thing," Pattinson recalled.But all went well for the actor, who finally flew to Los Angeles for the final audition and got to try on the iconic batsuit and landed the gig.

While the role is certainly different from the Edward Cullen character he played in `The Twilight` film series and won a million hearts with his portrayal as a vampire, it wasn`t the first time he had been considered for a superhero role.

The star had taken an informational meeting with Marvel around the time of `Guardians of the Galaxy`, however, nothing came of it."I don`t know what I would really be chasing. The idea of trying that transition after `Twilight,` I never saw a road in that direction," Pattinson said.
