Did Princess Diana predict her own death? We are not, a new documentary is suggesting so. According to the Discovery+ docuseries 'The Diana Investigations', covered by Daily Beast, Diana fondly known as the 'people's princess' had predicted her death two years before her car crash accident in Paris, France.

Diana died on 31st August 1997 with her boyfriend Dodi Fayed.

The bombshell revelations state that Diana called her legal adviser Victor Mischon in 1995 for a very secretive meeting in which she said that something tragic would take place — it can be a car crash or anything and it's all being planned.

The shocking revelations come from a very “reliable source,” whom Diana had not disclosed during the meeting, who had informed her that by April 1996, efforts would be made to “get rid of her''.

Two years after the closed-door meeting, as predicted by Diana, she died in a deadly car crash along with her boyfriend and driver Henri Paul, who under influence of prescribed drugs and alcohol, rammed the car in the Pont de l’Alma tunnel in Paris.

Paul was speeding the car to dodge the reporters who were following them at the night.

“The letter was given by Lord Mishcon to my predecessor, Paul Condon, and he put it in his safe,” Lord Stevens, who headed the Diana death inquiry, told Daily Beast.

“I was only made aware of that when I was made commissioner myself… and I had been made aware that Lord Mishcon had said he hadn’t actually attached much importance to it.

For the unversed, this is not the first time when any letter about Diana's death mystery has come out. Before this, a mysterious letter was published by Diana's butler Paul Burrell, which the former Royal allegedly wrote when her divorce was underway in 1996.

Charles and Diana got divorced in the year1996.

In the note, she said that her husband Prince Charles is planning an accident.

“My husband is planning ‘an accident in my car, brake failure and serious head injury in order to make the path clear for him to marry Tiggy,” she wrote. Prince Charles was reportedly interrogated by the U.K. police in 2005.

With ‘The Crown’ new season premiere date coming closer, the show makers have announced that they will not be replicating Princess Diana’s iconic outfit – one she wore for a royal gala performance of the English National Ballet’s Swan Lake in June 1997. The event, however, has been recreated for the Netflix show.

It was one of her very last public appearances.

The actress Elizabeth Debicki will be seen as Diana in the new season. She will be seen playing Diana for the red carpet scene but won't be seen in the late princess’s Jacques Azagury turquoise sequin shift dress. Instead, the makers have copied Diana’s Catherine Walker halter neck dress worn by her at a party two years prior to the red carpet event.

Not just the dress but the pearl and diamond necklace that was iconic of the event is also missing. The necklace, in real, was sold at an auction as the ‘Swan Lake necklace’ 20 years later for £10million.

On Thursday, the couple got hitched in a grand wedding ceremony held at Six Senses Fort Barwara in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan.

The couple who were always tight-lipped about their relation finally announced their wedding on social media. The adorable picture showed the newlyweds in their wedding attire.

In the pictures, Katrina was looking adorable in a traditional lehenga by ace-designer Sabyasachi. The look was accessorised with jewellery by Sabyasachi as well, which was studded with uncut diamonds in 22k gold detailed with hand-strung pearls. Kat's hair was styled into a bun covered with flowers.

Soon after the pictures were shared, the internet was quick to notice Katrina's diamond-studded engagement ring that features a gorgeous princess cut sapphire stone surrounded by brilliant diamonds set in platinum. The small jewellery piece is reportedly from Tiffany & Co. and reminds us of the famous sapphire ring that was worn by Princess Diana on her engagement to Prince Charles.

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal on December 9 have begun a new chapter in their life. Meet Mr and Mrs Kaushal! Inside Katrina Kaif & Vicky Kaushal intimate wedding In the pictures, Katrina was looking adorable in a traditional lehenga by ace-designer Sabyasachi. Anushka Sharma's message for Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal confirms this rumour The people's princess selected her own engagement ring, although the royal rings are custom made, she selected her blue sapphire from the Garrard jewellery collection catalogue.
Pablo Larrain’s ‘Spencer’ is rightly Kristen Stewart’s film as Diana in the biopic that takes the viewers through the tense mind of the People’s Princess and events that drove her to the day when she died in a horrific accident that the world remembers to date. Kristen lives up to the role of a torn Royal who feels stifled in between the constant watch, traditions and a loveless fake relationship. In the events shown in the film, Diana and Charles have been estranged and have a cocky, put-up relationship that everyone around them gets a sense of, even their kids, William and Harry.

The film is about those three days the Royal family including the Queen spend together to celebrate Christmas at the British family’s Sandringham estate. The vacation, however, festive and bright in nature looks like a suffocated lot of people put together for pretense. That’s something that Diana in real life, after she came out in the public, addressed at length. Kristen Stewart’s 'Spencer' gets 3-minute standing ovation at Venice Film Festival

The film looks spectacular in its visuals with the French cinematographer Claire Mathon capturing the essence of the estate that is cold, windy and grey (much like the mood of the people featuring in it). The dialogues are crisp and most of the time muffled, again symbolically standing true to one particular dialogue mentioned in the film “Here everyone hears everything”. The film is a slow burn and takes time to develop the tone as Pablo Larrain takes us through the conflicted mind of Diana who is throwing up her meals, sizing down in weight, wanting to rebel with open curtains and not often turning up in the dresses designated for her for this entire vacation. She also never turns up for lunches or dinners on time, something that the Royals are obviously not finding amusing.

The sequence of her breaking the pearl neckpiece gifted by Charles is also synonymous with her not-taking-it-lightly anymore attitude as she struggles evidently with the lifestyle chosen for her. The only time Diana looks happy during the entire three-day vacation is when she’s with her boys.

Also, there are moments she shares with her dresser Maggie (Sally Hawkins) and the head chef Darren (Sean Harris) that are sweet and heartfelt. You feel sad for the princess and her plight in the film. Possibly that’s what the director aimed at.

The music of the film also helps in that aspect as its eerie and haunting. It paces up and down, letting the dialogue and actions speak louder than background track.

The film Spencer is a fresh perspective on Diana and her life.
Hollywood actress Kristen Stewart, who is all set to feature as the late British royal family member Princess Diana in film 'Spencer', revealed in a latest interview that she was trying to get taller for her role.

"I tried to get taller. I'm 5ft 5in. She had such beautiful stature. I thought, 'I wish I could grow my femur! But I'm playing Diana, I'm not her...," Kristen told The Sunday Times newspaper.

Watch 'Spencer' trailer: Kristen Stewart looks convincing as Princess Diana

Hollywood actor Kristen Stewart, who plays the late Princess Diana in Pablo Larrain`s `Spencer`, recently said that there`s a big difference between her as an actor going to the depths of despair on-screen over her character`s marriage to Prince Charles and the late Royal herself.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, while speaking at the Toronto Film Festival on Wednesday, Stewart reflected on her time portraying Princess Diana and explained how she felt support on-set of the biopic that comes to Toronto by way of a world premiere in Venice and a North American premiere at Telluride.

"The one difference between Diana and myself, especially, is that she was alone and I was not. I had people holding me... I had a sort of safety net," Stewart said.

Larrain`s `Spencer` is set over a long Christmas weekend during which Diana decides to end her doomed marriage to Prince Charles.

Stewart, while being effusive in her admiration for Princess Diana, reiterated that she and the late Royal were quite different people, despite the actress being thrust into the glare of similar superstardom after her star turn in the `Twilight` franchise.

"There was no way to play this part perfectly, and therefore it was actually easier, or at least easier to not be so intimidated or daunted. Because the only way to catch something wild is to be that, and I could only be my version of that and hope that I learned everything I could learn from her and then kind of meld and kind of be both me and her in what was going to be the best version," she explained about the alchemy required to play Diana on screen.

Besides the aid of a voice coach to nail down her British accent and donning costumes, hair and make-up provided by Larrain`s creative team to play the iconic late Royal, often with her classic head-tilt pose, Stewart credits her close collaboration with the Chilean director to get Diana right on the screen.

"You have to be humane and not destroy your crew and not take advantage of people and performers and artists. But if it`s coming from the right place, you can really drive someone in the ground and they like it," Stewart said of Larrain.
She further continued, "As someone with ambitions to make movies, I was revived by him and blown away by his commitment. His commitment to his vision, which was so particular and weird, was feral and it was very cool. Those are the only types of people who should be making movies."

She had equal praise for cinematographer Claire Mathon, another veteran of Larrain`s creative team, along with costume designer Jacqueline Durran, makeup and hair designer Wakana Yoshihara, and production designer Guy Hendrix Dyas."Claire`s a genius. She`s a woman of very few words. She`s so watchful. She`s just not thinking of what`s she`s putting out when she`s working. She`s receiving. I could get up and run across the room and somehow she would be in front of me before I got there. Some people are very caught up in their own shit, composition, lighting and what they want you to do, versus what you`re going to throw at them," Stewart recalled.
