Speaking to the news magazine Veja, Bolsonaro also said that he had a good in-person meeting with Trump's successor Joe Biden. However, he asserted that if his close ally Trump was still in office, many issues currently bedevilling the world could've been avoided.

Recently, Trump also endorsed fellow right-wing populist Bolsonaro, calling him "one of the great presidents of any country in the world ... respected by everybody throughout the world."

Bolsonaro and Trump have long been allies, with the former an ardent admirer of the latter. Even when Trump saw his international popularity fall after the fallout of the 2020 US election, Jair Bolsonaro remained a fan. He was also among the last world leaders to recognise Joe Biden's victory, echoing Trump's US electoral fraud allegations till the end.

While talking to Veja he once again kept up his unfounded questioning of Brazil's electronic voting system, while declining to give a clear answer on whether he would accept the results if he lost in the second round.&nbsp;

"There's a feeling in public opinion that there was something dodgy," he said adding "I'm always worried."

In a recent interview with the Financial Times, the world's richest person said that tensions could be resolved by handing over some control of Taiwan to Beijing.

"My recommendation . . . would be to figure out a special administrative zone for Taiwan that is reasonably palatable, probably won't make everyone happy."

Musk as per a Reuters report made the comments when asked about China. Tesla electric car company operates a large factory in China's Shanghai. This factory accounted for approximately half of Tesla's global deliveries last year. &nbsp;

A 23-year woman who had survived a terror attack when she was a teenager has died after she chose to be euthanised. Shanti De Corte was plagued by depression and PTSD due to the bomb detonation she witnessed back when she was 17 years old.

On March 22, 2016, as she and her schoolmates were making their way through the departures area of the Belgian airport in Zaventem in preparation for a vacation to Italy, an ISIS bomb went off.&nbsp;

The explosion as per Daily Mail claimed 32 lives, additionally, more than 300 people were injured.

Though Shanti escaped the explosion physically unscathed, mentally she suffered every day since. The ordeal left her psychologically crippled, suffering through frequent panic attacks and bouts of depressive episodes.&nbsp;The troubled young woman is the terror attack's latest and the 33rd victim.

Shanti sought help from a psychiatric facility in her home town of Antwerp and was even put on anti-depressant medications. However, the psychological trauma was too heavy and she attempted suicide twice; once in 2018 and once in 2020.

Finally, in May of this year, she opted to be euthanised.

Euthanasia is legal in Belgium for individuals in "a medically futile condition of constant and unbearable physical or mental suffering that cannot be alleviated, resulting from a serious and incurable disorder caused by illness or accident".

As per RTBF, two psychiatrists approved Shanti's formal request to be euthanised earlier this year.&nbsp;She died on May 7, 2022, however, her story only recently came to light after her mother Marielle spoke to VRT news.&nbsp;'That day really cracked her, she never felt safe after that,' said Shanti's mother.

Before she opted to die, Shanti frequently took to social media and recalled the horrors she witnessed. In one post she shared how at one point she was taking up to 11 antidepressants a day, "I couldn't live without it".

"With all the medications I take, I feel like a ghost that can't feel anything anymore. Maybe there were other solutions than medications," she wrote.

In a final post, she posted on the day she died, Shanti wrote "I was laughing and crying. Until the last day. I loved and was allowed to feel what true love is. Now I will go away in peace. Know that I miss you already."

Belgium woman gets euthanised after battling post-terror attack mental trauma for six years

The Indian Air Force celebrated&nbsp;its 90th anniversary on Saturday. On the occasion, a new indigenously made camouflage combat uniform of the IAF has been unveiled.&nbsp;The new battle fatigues are similar to the ones which were introduced for the Indian army on the occasion of the 74th Army Day this year.

As per Times Now, the new battle fatigues carry a digitally pixelated design and not the organic patterns that were used earlier.

The digital pattern of the new uniform is all-terrain friendly. It gives the personnel the freedom and the flexibility to seamlessly move from deserts to mountainous lands, to woodlands etc.

Besides the new pattern, the uniform will have a different, more breathable, lightweight fabric and design that will increase the comfort and efficiency of personnel.

As per reports, ergonomic fitting is a feature that allows both male and female ground duty personnel to maximise their operational capability.

The all-terrain, all-weather uniform can be mass-produced which will also help manufacturers cut production costs.

PTI reports that a senior IAF officer who was wearing the new combat uniform during the anniversary celebrations in Chandigarh, said that the new pattern is called a "disruptive pattern" and it is a terrain pattern.

"If you are undertaking an operation in hilly areas, in desert or in jungle, this pattern merges with the terrain so that we remain camouflaged while undertaking our military operations. This is a very light cloth and moreover, boots are also light," he said adding that the uniform is indigenously made.

Indian Air Force unveils new combat uniform during its 90th anniversary celebrations

A joint operation by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and the Indian Navy has led to the seizure of 200 kilogrammes of Afghanistani heroin worth USD 1.45 million or Rs 1,200 crore&nbsp;from an Iranian vessel.

Talking to the press, NCB's Deputy Director General (operations) Sanjay Kumar Singh said that the agencies have also arrested six Iranian nationals and that the boat and the seized drugs were brought to Mattancherry wharf.&nbsp;

"The NCB has now seized the vessel and 200 kg of heroin. The six Iranian crew members have also been arrested under relevant sections of the NDPS Act, 1985," he said.

As per PTI, Singh reported that the investigation is still on and that the heroin was in 200 packets with markings and packing unique to Afghanistan and Pakistan-based drug cartels.

The crew tried to escape by jumping into the sea, said&nbsp;Singh. They also tried to dump the consignment.

Some drug packets reportedly carried 'Scorpion' seal markings, while others had 'dragon' markings. The drugs were packed in seven-layer waterproof packing.

"Preliminary investigation revealed that the seized drug was sourced from Afghanistan and was transported to Pakistan. This consignment was then loaded into the now-seized vessel off the Pakistan coast in a mid-sea exchange," NCB said in its statement.

The vessel set sail to Indian waters for further delivery to a Sri Lankan vessel. While efforts are being made to identify&nbsp;and intercept the Sri Lankan vessel, it is yet to be traced.

As per the NCB trafficking of Afghan heroin into India via the Arabian Sea and Indian ocean has increased over the past years.

"The southern route for trafficking of heroin from Afghanistan i.e., from Afghanistan to Makran coast of Iran and Pakistan and then onwards to various countries in the Indian Ocean Region, including India, has gained prominence over the last few years."

"The NCB has now seized the vessel and 200 kg of heroin. The six Iranian crew members have also been arrested under relevant sections of the NDPS Act, 1985," he said. The crew tried to escape by jumping into the sea, said Singh. They also tried to dump the consignment. Some drug packets reportedly carried 'Scorpion' seal markings, while others had 'dragon' markings. The drugs were packed in seven-layer waterproof packing. A man has been taken into custody after he allegedly killed a professor on the University of Arizona main campus on Wednesday (October 6).

At a press conference held later, the police chief said that the suspect, Murad Dervis, 46, was arrested by the police in the evening around 5 pm after being spotted near Gila Bend.

The chief went on to say that the department received a call around 2&nbsp;pm&nbsp;reporting that Dervis, a former student of the university, had been seen in the building. Dervis was, however, not allowed in the building, so the caller wanted him to be let out by law enforcement.&nbsp;

I encourage you to have compassion for one another and to care for yourselves and those around you during this difficult time."&nbsp;

As per details, the professor was shot dead in an office. However, only a few details were disclosed about the incident. The relationship between the professor and the shooter has yet to be disclosed.

The debt threshold not only spells trouble for the nation's economy but also poses a problem for Joe Biden who will once again be running for President in 2024.&nbsp;

He had promised to reduce US budget deficits i.e., what government earns through tax revenue vs the money it spends by $1 trillion over a decade. However, as per estimates by the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget estimates, his policies have added nearly $5 trillion to the deficit since he took office in 2020.&nbsp;

If interest rates on the nation's debt increase by just one percentage point beyond what the CBO forecasts over the next few years, interest payments might surpass United States' national defence expenditure by 2029, reports the New York Times.

The carmaker refuted that this was a ransomware attack, adding that there was no evidence of it or of a breach of the company's system.&nbsp;

However, Ferrari said that it was working to identify how the documents were made public and that appropriate actions would be taken as needed, adding that there has been no disruption to its business and operations.

In the recent past, ransomware attacks have grown exponentially. From big brands like Ferrari to public service organisations like UK's National Health Service, many have fallen prey to these attacks. Ransomware attacks use malware to block access to data or threaten to publish sensitive data unless the victim pays a substantial ransom.&nbsp;

As per Security Affairs and Hack Notice, in December of last year, another ransomware attack indirectly targeted Ferrari. The attack by Everest ransomware allegedly hacked Speroni Spa's systems. The company is part of the supply chain of multiple car makers including Ferrari. Reportedly, 850 GB of the company's data, including customer and employee data, technical data, financial documents, bank statements, and "other very important documents" were put up for sale after the attack.

Ferrari falls victim to ransomware attack; 7GB of its internal documents made public

In the latest riots to strike Ecuador's troubled prison system at least 15 prisoners died on Monday.

As per an AFP report quoting officials from SNAI, the agency that manages Ecuador's prisons, the riots left "15 people dead and 20 injured".

The incident took place at Regional Sierra Centro Norte Cotopaxi prison in Latacunga in south Ecuador and as per a TRT World report, inmates armed with guns and knives clashed in the riot.&nbsp;

Officials have attributed the clash to national and international drug trafficking groups.

Protection of 20 "priority places" from further degradation is also included. Plibersek remarked that it could create "little Noah's Arks of places returning to healthy populations of plants and animals".

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) has warned its members that Russian President Vladimir Putin has deployed Poseidon, a nuclear weapon that is also known as the "weapon of the Apocalypse".

It is an 'Intercontinental Nuclear-Powered Nuclear-Armed Autonomous Torpedo' that is believed to be capable of travelling huge distances underwater.&nbsp;

Poseidon is capable of a detonation that can trigger a 1,600 ft nuclear tsunami&nbsp; that is "designed to drown and irradiate coastal cities" reports Daily Mail.

The next-generation weapon was announced by the Russian president back in 2018. As per Russian media, the doomsday weapon can travel up to 6,000 miles under water. It packs an explosion of two megatonnes. For context, this is more than 130 times the nuclear explosion of "Little Boy", the atomic bomb that wrecked Hiroshima in Japan back in August 1945 during World War II.

As&nbsp;per Naval News, "It is a giant torpedo which can hit coastal cities with devastating results. Compared to an intercontinental ballistic missile it is very slow, but possibly unstoppable."

As per Daily Mail, the weapon has never been tested thanks to the international prohibition on testing of nuclear weapons, and if Russia does test it now, this would mark a highly "provocative" move by the nation.

How did Ukraine react to the warning?

Pravda reports that Ukraine, which has for the past few months been facing aggression and destruction at the hands of Russia, has urged the media not to spread disinformation and called the information manipulative.&nbsp;

As per a Facebook post by Ukraine's National Security and Defence of Ukraine [NSDC], "information about the submarine 'Belgorod' can play on the hand of Russian propaganda".

The auction house was informed that it belonged to the seller's grandmother who was a Parisian collector "in the last century."

One of the Osenat Auction House, auctioneers Jean-Pierre called the incident "a crazy story". The auction house described the vase as "quite ordinary" and said that it dated from the 20th century. An expert at the auction house said that it would have been extremely rare if it had been 200 years older.

One example is of the shoes and accessories brand Cole Haan whose ad appeared next to a tweet in which the user posted about "trading teen/child" content.

Several tweets contained phrases like "rape" and "teens," among others.

In another instance, a user posted their search for "Yung girls ONLY, NO Boys," material on Twitter which was followed immediately by a promotional tweet for the Scottish Rite Children's Hospital in Texas.&nbsp;

Ghost Data found that over 500 accounts&nbsp;shared or requested explicit child sex abuse content over the course of 20 days this month. The organisation, as per Reuters, claims that Twitter failed to delete more than 70 per cent&nbsp;of the accounts during the study period.&nbsp;

Like all social media platforms, Twitter forbids images that portray child sexual exploitation. However, it normally allows for sexual content and hosts a booming exchange of pornographic images, which, as per the Reuters report&nbsp;account for around 13 per cent of all content on Twitter.

One of the supporters of the Venus flyby, Dr Noam Izenberg of the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, claimed that Venus "gets a bad rap because it's got such a difficult surface environment."

"Moon to Mars is the current NASA paradigm," he said adding that they're attempting to justify Venus as an additional objective along that route.&nbsp;He says that a Venus flyby makes sense as performing a slingshot or gravity assist around Earth's sister planet, could shorten the journey time and fuel needed to reach the red planet despite the fact that Venus is in the "wrong" direction.

However, not everyone is sold on the idea.&nbsp;

“It’s really not a nice place to go. It’s a hellish environment and the thermal challenges for a human mission would be quite considerable,” says Prof. Andrew Coates of UCL's Mullard Space Science Laboratory.

Since the discovery of hundreds of exoplanets, scientific curiosity about Venus has grown as the finding raises the question of how many of these planets may be habitable. Now, scientists want to know how and why Venus, a planet so similar to our own in size, mass, and distance from the sun, ended up with hellish surface conditions.

This deal is the first significant foreign economic agreement known to have been reached by the Taliban and it may help lessen the Islamist movement's exclusion from the world banking system.

According to Azizi, the agreement calls for Russia to annually supply two million tonnes of wheat, 500,000 tonnes of LPG, and one million tonne&nbsp;each of gasoline and diesel. 
 
The minister also disclosed that the agreement is set to run for an unspecified length of time, after which both sides if content with the arrangement will sign a longer-term deal.

He claimed that while Afghanistan had significant trading links with Pakistan and also received some gas and oil from Turkmenistan and Iran, it wished to diversify.

It is expected that the United States, which is currently experiencing shaky relations with Russia will be keeping an eye on the trade deal.

More than one year has elapsed since Afghanistan's erstwhile rulers once again took over the country. However, at this time, no nation has formally recognised the Taliban.&nbsp;Even though Russia doesn't formally recognise the group, its embassy is one of the few that is still operational in the Afghan capital.&nbsp;

According to reports, cattle have recently taken over roadways, local courts, and government structures in several districts of Gujarat.

BBC reports that the Gujarat state government's budget for this year included $61 million (INR 5 billion) for the upkeep of cow shelters and ageing animals. However, shelter managers claim that they are yet to receive any aid.

They said that they feel "cheated" and that in spite of making numerous official petitions, no solutions had been provided.

According to The Indian Express, about 1,750 charitable trust-run cowsheds that house more than 450,000 cattle, participated in the protest.

"BJP-ruled states like Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand are providing support. Even Congress-ruled Rajasthan is offering 50 rupees for one cow. So why has Gujarat failed to support cows?" the publication quoted Vipul Mali, general secretary of the Gujarat Gau Seva Sangh, which operates cow shelters for sick livestock, as saying.

The protest comes as India reels under the effects of lumpy skin disease. According to government figures, the disease has killed more than 5,800 cattle in Gujarat, and it is anticipated that another 170,000 have been infected.

On Tuesday (September 27), a day after the Russian security service FSB announced that it had detained a Japanese consul in Vladivostok for possible espionage and ordered him to leave the country, Tokyo accused Moscow of mistreating the diplomat and demanded a formal apology.

As per AFP, talking to the press, top government spokesman Hirokazu Matsuno claimed that the "official was blindfolded, with pressure applied to both his hands and head so he was unable to move while being detained, and then he was questioned in an overbearing way."

Denying the espionage charges Matsuno said that his country "strongly protests these unbelievable acts".

Reuters reports that as per Matsuno Moscow's detention of the consul was clearly in "violation of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations."

He further stated that the detained consul "was not engaging in any illegal activity," and that Japan summoned the Russian ambassador and "demanded a formal apology" for how the diplomat had been treated. Tokyo has also threatened that it "needs to take equivalent steps".&nbsp;
