Kim Kardashian might have everything in the world but she’s just a regular mom when it comes to her parenting principles. In a report, a source claims that Kim has “strict rules” for her kids and she’s very particular about each of her kids, the boys and the girls to follow them.

With Kim and ex Kanye juggling between the kids and their own individual lives, the report emphasises that Kim has laid down some pretty hard base for Kanye’s current partner to adhere to and confirm while dealing with her kids.

Kim Kardashian's rules for kids when around Bianca Censori

For a start, Bianca has to ensure that when she is with the kids, she doesn’t allow a lot of screen time to them and that their sleep is monitored so that their routine can remain the same irrespective of which parent they are living with.

Amid the Grammys controversy in which Kanye made a surprise visit to the red carpet with wife Bianca Censori, who came in a nude dress, Kim’s rules for her kids, are now garnering attention.

According to sources, Kim Kardashian has outlined clear rules for her kids, particularly around their use of social media and screen time. These guidelines are aimed at providing structure, ensuring their safety, and avoiding any potential negative impact from the spotlight surrounding her ex-husband’s public life.

A source shared with InTouch that Kardashian has made it clear: “If he [her son] breaks any of the rules they’ve agreed on about posting online while he’s under Bianca’s care, there will be h*** to pay.”

Kim has reportedly instructed Bianca Censori to ensure that her children limit their intake of junk food and sugar.
Kim has insisted that screen time and social media access should be “limited and monitored closely” to protect her kids from potential online dangers. One notable example of Kardashian’s strict parenting is the contract she had her oldest son, Saint West, sign before he was allowed to use YouTube. The contract included rules that prohibited him from commenting on personal family matters or filming sensitive content, such as recordings of his sister, North, making music. Kardashian shared this contract on Instagram in September 2024, reinforcing her commitment to monitoring her children’s online activity.
Kim Kardashian knows how to create a stir with her fashion choices. At the recently held 2024 LACMA Art + Film Gala in Los Angeles, Kim wore an antique amethyst necklace, previously worn by the late Princess Diana at a 1987 charity event. Kim teamed the enormous cross necklace with a white gown and plunging neckline, highlighting her cleavage. Kim also added an ivory coat to her outfit, styled off-the-shoulder for the event. The reality TV star completed her look with a sleek bob parted to the left, winged eyeliner, brown eyeshadow and a nude lip.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians alum reportedly acquired the Attallah Cross at a Sotheby’s auction in 2023 for just under $200,000 and wore it publicly for the first time at this event.

Kim Kardashian, who has been an outspoken advocate for criminal justice reform, feels that Lyle and Erik Menendez should not spend the rest of their lives in prison. In an essay published on Thursday (October 3) for NBC News, the reality star and fashion mogul shared her thoughts on the infamous Menendez brothers case, which has garnered renewed attention after the release of Ryan Murphy's Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.

Lyle and Erik, now 56 and 53 respectively, were convicted for the murders of their parents José and Kitty Menendez in 1996. At the time, they were just 21 and 18 years old.

In the essay, Kardashian highlighted the alleged abuse they suffered at the hands of their parents and she believes that they were unfairly dismissed during their trials.

“We are all products of our experiences. They shape who we were, who we are, and who we will be,” Kardashian wrote in her essay. “Physiologically and psychologically, time changes us, and I doubt anyone would claim to be the same person they were at 18. I know I’m not!”

Kardashian further pointed out that the Menendez brothers were allegedly victims of sexual, physical and emotional abuse for years. Erik even claims that his father began raping him when he was just 6 years old. Despite the abuse allegations, she argues that the brothers did not receive a fair trial.

Kardashian drew attention to the timing of the Menendez brothers' second trial, which began just eight days after O.J. Simpson’s acquittal. Kardashian’s father Robert Kardashian Sr. served as a defense attorney in the Simpson case. “Eight days after [O.J.] Simpson’s acquittal, opening arguments began in Erik and Lyle’s second trial. However, this time, the judge had changed the rules,” she wrote.

“Both brothers were tried together before a single jury, much of the abuse evidence was deemed inadmissible, and manslaughter was no longer an option. Some witnesses from the first trial were barred from testifying about the alleged abuse, depriving the jurors of crucial evidence. The prosecutor, having successfully argued to exclude the abuse testimony, mocked the brothers’ defence during his closing arguments for not producing any evidence of abuse,” Kardashian continued.

Kardashian argued that the justice system failed the Menendez brothers, claiming that society’s view of abuse, particularly toward boys, was limited at the time of their trial.

Since it was the first trial to be televised, she claimed that “Erik and Lyle’s case became entertainment for the nation, their suffering and stories of abuse ridiculed in skits on Saturday Night Live. The media turned the brothers into monsters and sensationalised eye candy — two arrogant, rich kids from Beverly Hills who killed their parents out of greed.”

“I have spent time with Lyle and Erik; they are not monsters,” Kardashian stated, describing them as “kind” and “honest men” with “exemplary disciplinary records” during their time in prison.

While Kardashian acknowledged that the killings are inexcusable, she insisted that the Menendez brothers who are in their 50s deserve a second chance. “We owe it to those little boys who lost their childhoods, who never had a chance to be heard, helped or saved,” she concluded.

The media turned the brothers into monsters and sensationalised eye candy — two arrogant, rich kids from Beverly Hills who killed their parents out of greed.” “I have spent time with Lyle and Erik; they are not monsters,” Kardashian stated, describing them as “kind” and “honest men” with “exemplary disciplinary records” during their time in prison. While Kardashian acknowledged that the killings are inexcusable, she insisted that the Menendez brothers who are in their 50s deserve a second chance. “We owe it to those little boys who lost their childhoods, who never had a chance to be heard, helped or saved,” she concluded.

Kim Kardashian recently visited the Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility near San Diego to meet with a group of around 40 inmates, including notorious criminals Erik and Lyle Menéndez. The reality star and criminal justice reform advocate was accompanied by her sister Khloé Kardashian, mother Kris Jenner, film producer Scott Budnick and actor Cooper Koch, who portrays Erik in Netflix's new series Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.

The purpose of the visit was to discuss ongoing prison reform efforts. Greenspace, a project focused on improving prison environments by beautifying prison yards to aid in the rehabilitation of inmates, was a major topic of discussion during the visit. The project is led by Lyle Menéndez with his brother Erik also plays a significant role.

While Kim's visit aimed to shed light on reform, it came shortly after Erik criticised Netflix’s new biopic series produced by Ryan Murphy, which recounts the infamous case of the Menéndez brothers. Erik condemned the show as "naive and inaccurate," particularly for omitting the brothers' allegations of abuse against their father José Menéndez. He claimed the series unfairly portrayed him and Lyle in the worst possible light.

"I believed we had moved beyond the lies and ruinous character portrayals of Lyle, creating a caricature of Lyle rooted in horrible and blatant likes rampant in the show," said Erik. "I can only believe they were done so on purpose. It is with a heavy heart that I say, I believe Ryan Murphy cannot be this naive and inaccurate about the facts of our lives so as to do this without bad intent."

"It is sad for me to know that Netflix’s dishonest portrayal of the tragedies surrounding our crime had taken the painful truths several steps backwards — back through time to an era when the prosecution built a narrative on a belief system that males were not sexually abused, and that males experienced rape trauma differently than women," he continued. "Those awful lies have been disrupted and exposed by countless brave victims over the last two decades who have broken through their personal shame and bravely spoken out."
