<p>This time around, the film serves up a fresh set of allies and foes, each with their own unique brand of cool. Leading the pack of bad guys is Bill Skarsgård's Marquis Vincent de Gramont, a member of the High Table and the perfect foil to John. While our beloved protagonist abides by the assassin code of honour that this underworld operates by, De Gramont is all about flouting the rules whenever it suits him. While John had to earn his place through sheer skill and ability, De Gramont only got in because of his celebrated heritage.</p>

<p>John is a man of few words. De Gramont on the other hand makes grand pronouncements like (I am paraphrasing, mind you) how those who believe in second chances have failed.</p>

From a thrilling half-hour sequence in Osaka that involves the use of (and this list isn't exhaustive at all), hands, crossbows, pistols, revolvers, assault rifles, knives, swords, and nunchucks, to John evading a city-worth of assassins, and my personal favourite, a dreamy, almost ethereal hand-to-hand brawl against the German head of the High Table Killa (Scott Adkins) in a Berlin nightclub amid swaying dancers... it has all the makings of an all-time great action film, eclipsed perhaps only by Mad Max: Fury Road.</p>

<p>From New York to Berlin to Paris, each locale provides a new canvas for Stahelski to deliver visceral mayhem. The choreography is so slick and stunt-work so incredible that they will make your head spin.</p>

<p>John Wick 4 is also a gorgeous-looking film, even beyond the fights and clever camera wizardry. From the neon lights of Osaka to the fiery reds and oranges of a Moroccan desert, John Wick 4 is a veritable symphony of hues. Many important moments suspiciously transpire during the golden hour. The stunning, elegiac imagery here is not something you expect in films like these. You would find yourself wanting to pause to take in all in. I know I did.</p>

It is hard to imagine today that the first film was an indie project that almost did not acquire theatrical distribution (it was not confirmed to hit big screens until two months before it releases). Anyway,<em> John Wick: Chapter 4</em> is almost here, continuing the story of Keanu Reeves' hitman as he takes on the High Table. But before it releases, let's delve into what exactly makes this franchise so great.&nbsp;</p>

Before John Wick 4, let's recap the blood-soaked journey of Keanu Reeves' hitman

<p>Lance Reddick is no more. The actor, well-known for his role in the John Wick franchise, breathed his last on March 17 at his home in Studio City, California. He was 60 years old.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As per the reports, Lance was found dead at his LA home on Friday morning at around 9:30 a.m. Later, the actor's representative confirmed that Reddick died of natural causes.</p>

John Wick 4 tracking for franchise record opening at North American box office

<p>'John Wick' is loading his guns again and sharpening his pencil for the fourth film in the franchise. A sequel to the 2019 film John Wick: Chapter 3 -- Parabellum, titled 'John Wick Chapter 4' is coming to theatres on March 24, 2023.</p>

<p>The makers of the film released its trailer on the night of November 10, and as usual, the trailer hooks the audience from the word 'Go'.</p>

<p>Keanu Reeves is back to doing what he's best suited for (pun very much intended) -- serving as the killing machine, driving his Mustang like a maniac, and beat the guys who dare cross his line.</p>

<p>The trailer has everything that a 'John Wick' fan could ask for. Apart from slick action, it features good use of colours, expansive frames with European architecture, and of course Keanu Reeves, who refuses to give up. And the generous actor accepted the offer, but he made sure to surprise the bride.<br />

<p>Keanu Reeves’ Neo is back where he started off – being Thomas Anderson, only now he is no longer the illegal hacker of 1999 but a video game developer for Warner Bros (yes, that plug is there) who has made games that are (wait for it) the Matrix trilogy! And now he’s being asked to make a sequel to the trilogy (yes, the makers are being smug here). But does he look good!</p>

<p>Then there’s Trinity oops Tiffany who Thomas meets everyday at the same cafe but does not recognise. Only that he does but has no memories of where he knows her from. Both Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss have aged gracefully and look old and we’re not complaining. Their chemistry sizzles like old times.</p>

<p>Film’s director Lana Wachowski brings together nostalgic elements that bind the film together but lacks the punch that the first film had…but to be honest, how many sequels live up to their predecessors? She brings the dingy industrial spaceships, robots with metal tentacles back to show what the real world looks like – much like what you’d remember from the original film. There’s also lots of action (obviously) and some kickass stunts but somehow it all pales in comparison to what we saw in the 1999 film. One thing good, however, is that the humans in the illusive world no longer need telephone booths to jump to and fro. So that’s quite a relief, given we’ve jumped two decades since the first film came out.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Also, probably because these days we see so much meta stuff around us that the idea of machines and Artificial Intelligence taking over our world doesn’t seem so dystopian anymore. Maybe we have accepted that fate already? Or is it fate, really? Maybe, all this is just an illusion and we’ll find a glitch soon.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Priyanka Chopra also finds a credible mention as she plays Sati. While her screen time is less, she gets a meaty, chunky role and she does justice to it. She plays a crucial role in getting Neo and Trinity together as the actress proves her acting mettle yet again.&nbsp;</p>

The trailer indicates that Neo, played by Keanu Reeves, and Trinity, essayed by Carrie-Anne Moss, have no memory of what happened in 'The Matrix' trilogy. It’s a new reality they have to navigate through and they have to do it together. <p>Just a day ahead of the first trailer of the highly anticipated film 'The Matrix Resurrections', producers Warner Bros revealed the first look of the characters of the film on an innovative website.&nbsp;<br />

The interactive website- `WhatIsTheMatrix.com`, greets users with the simple choice first presented in 1999`s `The Matrix`: Click on the blue pill, and stick to the reality you have known your whole life; click on the red pill, and signal that you are ready to see how the story changes.<br />

Each choice opted by the users will present them with two different angles on what appears to be the central story in `The Matrix Resurrections`.In the context of the teaser glimpse that was unveiled by the exhibitors during CinemaCon in August, Neo (Keanu Reeves) is back inside the Matrix, taking blue pills and seeing a therapist played by Neil Patrick Harris until a man portrayed by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II steps into Neo`s life and gets him to see that his reality is just a mirage.<br />

Users, who opt to go with the blue pill option, will hear a voiceover by Harris` character saying, "you have lost your capacity to discern reality from fiction.""Anything else is just your mind playing tricks on you," Harris reads out loud before urging the user to accept that their reality is real, as the current time flashes on the screen.<br />
