Jimmy Kimmel cracks up audience as he takes a dig at Kanye West-Pete Davidson feud

Kim Kardashian is upset with her estranged husband Kanye West. The rapper, in a recent interview, claimed that Kim had prevented him from entering her home and meeting their children as Kim's current boyfriend Pete Davidson was over.

Sources close to Kim though deny Kaye's claim. A source while speaking to PageSix said, "Pete has yet to be introduced to Kim`s kids, and it`s widely known that whenever he visits her in LA, he stays at a hotel in Beverly Hills where she`s been spotted with him."

Still, West suggested Davidson was the reason he was unable to visit with his kids at their home in Hidden Hills.
In the interview, West claimed, "Earlier this week, Monday, when I went to go pick my kids up from school, the security stopped me at the gate."

"So, at that point, security was in between me and my children," he said seemingly elaborating on an earlier clip from the interview where he said, "no security," would keep him from his children.

He continued, "But I didn`t want to argue about it. So, I just chilled, took my kids to school, and then took my kids back, I am driving. I bring them back and North was like, `I want you to come upstairs and see something.` And it`s like, `Oh, Daddy can`t come see something. Daddy can`t come inside.` But that hadn`t been defined."

Entertainment Tonight first aired the clip from Lee`s sit-down with the rapper where he said, "I am the richest Black man and North`s father, right, and the security was able to stop me from going into the room with my daughter."
Kanye then claimed that he was blocked because Kim's "new boyfriend" Davidson was inside.

Kim Kardashian wants to be ‘single’, asks court to 'grant an early trial' for divorce with Kanye West

Kim Kardashian may have requested the court to speed up her divorce from Kanye West but the rapper still has hopes for reconciliation.

The beauty mogul said in a recent court filing that "no counselling or reconciliation effort" could repair her marriage to Kanye West. But appears like the rapper is still hoping he and Kardashian can work things out. The rapper is willing to fight to win her over.

A source close to the rapper told People magazine that family and marriage are "important" to West and that he is a "family man at heart (whose) love and commitment" to his ex and kids "will never change."

"He's not giving up without a fight. Kim is the mother of his children and he's not going to just let that go. No matter if they're husband and wife, they'll always support each other. Her recent filing or any filing for that matter doesn`t mean he`s going to stop fighting to win her back," the source said.

Kardashian filed for divorce from the rapper in February after nearly seven years of marriage and four children-- North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 3 and Psalm, 2.

The couple started dating in 2012 and married in May 2014. Kim, in her latest filing, has requested to have child custody and property matters be separated from her marital status.

She has also requested to be declared legally single and that her maiden name be restored.

Despite all that, the source said that the rapper "hasn't lost hope to be with Kim again," and as he goes out more and he`s holding events and concerts, he's always inviting Kim and will continue to do so. His sole priority is making sure she's taken care of and treated like a queen, whether they're married or not. That will always be a priority and that will never change."

Kardashian has recently been dating 'Saturday Night Live' comedian Pete Davidson for the past few months. They were first linked in October and have since been publicly spotted spending time together on multiple occasions.

Though Kardashian argued that West has been unresponsive in legal matters pertaining to their divorce, he has repeatedly made public pleas to get back together with his ex.

Kanye West says his campaign for the 2020 Presidential elections put a strain on his marriage with Kim Kardashian.
Kanye has been vocal about rekindling his marriage with Kardashian for some time now.
Kanye, who now goes by the name Ye, posted a five-minute-long 'Thanksgiving Prayer' on social media and once again spoke about his desire to get back to Kim.

The 44-year-old rapper shared the video of his prayer to Instagram.

Ye talked about the importance of taking accountability for his actions and declared that he thinks daily about "how I get my family back together and how I heal the pain that I've caused."

"I take accountability for my actions. New word alert: misactions. The one thing that all my successes and failures have in common is me," West said.

"Good lord my wife did not like me wearing the red hat," West said. "Being a good wife she just wanted to protect me and our family. I made me and our family a target by not aligning with Hollywood's political stance and that was hard for our marriage."

West also addressed the controversial press conference during his presidential bid when he revealed that how he had wanted to get his first child with Kardashian aborted.

"Then I ran for president without proper preparation and no allies on either side. I embarrassed my wife in the way I presented information about our family during the one and thank God only press conference. All my dad had to say afterwards was, 'Write your speech next time, son.'"

The rapper also confessed to spending "money like crazy" and becoming a "self-righteous Christian."

"Mix that with being rich and famous and very very very very very very attractive and you got a Molotov cocktail ready to be thrown through the window of anyone who ever disagreed with me. I was arrogant with my Jesus like I just got me some Jesus at the Gucci store with a stimulus check," he said.

West concluded by thanking Kardashian for giving him his family, and also expressed his gratefulness for "the life that God has given me."

Kanye, who now goes by the name Ye, posted a five-minute-long 'Thanksgiving Prayer' on social media and once again spoke about his desire to get back to Kim. The 44-year-old rapper shared the video of his prayer to Instagram. Ye talked about the importance of taking accountability for his actions and declared that he thinks daily about "how I get my family back together and how I heal the pain that I've caused." "I take accountability for my actions. New word alert: misactions. The one thing that all my successes and failures have in common is me," West said. Kanye West reacts to Kim Kardashian-Pete Davidson dating rumours: She's still my wife "I would drink to take the stress away and knock the edge off. Drinking affected my health and the health of people around me because I already had a hair trigger temper and this just heightened it." The rapper also spoke about alcoholism and how going 'on and off medication left him "susceptible to other episodes, which my wife and family and fans have had to endure," he said. The rapper ran for president in 2020. Prior to that, he was known for voicing support for President Trump and wearing a MAGA hat. "Good lord my wife did not like me wearing the red hat," West said. "Being a good wife she just wanted to protect me and our family. I made me and our family a target by not aligning with Hollywood's political stance and that was hard for our marriage." West also addressed the controversial press conference during his presidential bid when he revealed that how he had wanted to get his first child with Kardashian aborted. "Then I ran for president without proper preparation and no allies on either side. I embarrassed my wife in the way I presented information about our family during the one and thank God only press conference. All my dad had to say afterwards was, 'Write your speech next time, son.'" The rapper also confessed to spending "money like crazy" and becoming a "self-righteous Christian." "Mix that with being rich and famous and very very very very very very attractive and you got a Molotov cocktail ready to be thrown through the window of anyone who ever disagreed with me. I was arrogant with my Jesus like I just got me some Jesus at the Gucci store with a stimulus check," he said. West concluded by thanking Kardashian for giving him his family, and also expressed his gratefulness for "the life that God has given me." "I'm thankful for your time, attention, and patience," he concluded. West has in the recent past expressed his desire to get back with Kardashian on multiple occasions in the recent past.

To the benefit of artists Kanye West, Taylor Swift, ABBA and Lil Nas X, a report suggests that the Recording Academy decided to expand the number of Grammy nominees just 24 hours before the list was announced.

According to Variety, the move, which saw the list of nominees in the top four general categories grow from eight nominees to 10, was positioned as a natural progression by CEO Harvey Mason jr.

He said, "We saw it as an incredible opportunity for us to honour more artists and shine a light on more great music, and potentially offer a greater opportunity for more genres of music to be honoured." Here's the full list of nominees

As for the abruptness of the move, "It's something that we`ve talked about for quite some time but it ended up happening fairly recently," he said, adding, "We looked at the voting and the number of submissions (for the 2022 Grammys) and saw it as a great opportunity."

Advance lists of the nominees, which are traditionally serviced to the media 24 hours before the announcement, arrived much later than usual on Monday.

Sources tell Variety that the expansion of the top lists was the cause of the delay.

Lil Nas X's 'Montero (Call Me by Your Name)' and ABBA's 'I Still Have Faith in You' were added to the record of the year; Swift's 'Evermore' and West's 'Donda' were the additional candidates for the album of the year.

Doja Cat's 'Kiss Me More' and Brandi Carlile's 'Right on Time' were put it at the last minute for song of the year (Carlile's second nomination in the category); and Baby Keem and Arooj Aftab were added to the best new artist field, according to the report.

The news outlet, in which the report was published, was able to ascertain which artists benefitted from the shift from eight to 10 by comparing the final list with a list created prior to the Monday decision, a version that "had begun circulating outside the Recording Academy before the nominations were announced on Tuesday."

As per Variety, the outlet stated that it had obtained a copy of the earlier list. Mason told the outlet that the artists added to the list were simply the ninth and tenth most voted by the Academy`s members.

As to whether ratings for the multimillion-dollar Grammy telecast were a consideration for the Swift-West addition, he responded, "A thousand per cent no. That was not a consideration."

Academy co-president Valeisha Butterfield Jones added, "While it may seem rushed, it really was a thoughtful, well-intentioned process that was also data-driven."

Other questions about the final nominations were being raised this week by recording artist Linda Chorney, who said she awoke this week to Google alerts linking to news stories showing she had been nominated for best American roots performance for her song 'Bored'.

Yet when the official list was disseminated, Chorney's song was not among the nominees, and a song by Rhiannon Giddens took the spot that seemingly had been hers.

Chorney says she wrote to some of the reporters who published a story claiming a nomination for her and heard back apologetically from one that the information had been cut-and-pasted from an incorrect source, but she hasn't gotten any feedback on what that source was. With no explanations forthcoming about why erroneous news accounts might have credited her with a nod, Chorney believes she did earn a nomination and that it somehow got axed.

Chorney has taken on the Grammys about changes in the voting process in the years since she landed a nod in the Best Americana Album category in 2012, which she believes were made to keep self-releasing artists like her from getting in again. The outlet`s news about details of the last-minute expansion of top nominations sets an awkward tone for the next Grammy Awards, an institution that has been marred by an ongoing series of unsavoury controversies over the past five years.

Last year, The Weeknd was shockingly excluded from all nominations despite having one of the most successful albums and singles of the year with 'After Hours' and 'Blinding Lights'.

Mason's predecessor Deborah Dugan was dismissed as she alleged conflicts of interest and covered up allegations of sexual misconduct and even a rape allegation. Earlier this year, the Academy eliminated its "secret" nomination review committees that had curated final nominee lists for most categories, but that was only after years of complaints about insider dealing that culminated with the Weeknd snub. The list goes on. As per Variety, Mason had pledged a new era of transparency, yet the controversies have continued.
Kanye West is back in the news and this time for his love life. No, he’s not getting back with ex wife Kim Kardashian but there’s someone new in the picture. We are talking about half his age model Vinetria who is just 22. According to media reports, Kanye West has been “hooking” up with the model for sometime now. They were first spotted together when they attended the Donda Academy’s debut basketball game in Minneapolis. But this comes as a surprise as the rapper recently spoke of his equation with estranged wife and said they were still together as their divorce had not come through. It was after reports came out that she has been hooking up with Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson.
After changing his name to Ye, Kanye West seems to be in Halloween mood as the rapper was seen in New York City in a spooky avatar with a caucasian mask that looks like it had makeup on its eyes. Kanye West gets his name changed legally to Ye

Looking creepy, Ye wore a cap on top to hide probably his identity from the public and paparazzi but they were quick to recognise the rapper.

The haunting face mask covered his face. He teamed up the look with a black cap, jacket, faded jeans and knee high boots. He looked straight out of some Halloween movie.

This is not the first time when Kanye has spooked us as in Venice too, he was spotted wearing an alien-like mask.

In an interesting news update, Kanye West has legally changed his name to Ye, something he has desired for a long time.

A judge of Los Angeles Superior Court approved his name change request Monday after the rapper filed a petition last month to officially go by his famous nickname.

Ye, who has no middle or last name, cited personal reasons behind his decision to change his name in his petition.

The rapper has been using the moniker as a nickname for several years now. Infact, he named his eighth album after the nickname in 2018 and even goes by the abbreviated title on Twitter.

That year, in a radio interview, Kanye said, "I believe 'ye' is the most commonly used word in the Bible, and in the Bible it means you. So it's I'm you, I'm us, it's us. It went from being Kanye, which means the only one, to just Ye being a reflection of our good, our bad, our confused, our everything."

Last in August, Ye released a two-hour, 27-track album ‘Donda’, which dropped after weeks of delay and several stadium-filled public listening sessions.
