<h2>Brisbane to host training camps for non-IPL players</h2>

<p>While most of the chosen players for the 20-team tournament are busy playing the IPL in India, those away will attend the two training camps in Brisbane over the next two weeks to prepare for the T20 World Cup.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Josh Hazlewood, Ashton Agar, Adam Zampa, Josh Inglis and Captain Marsh are the ones to train there before flying to the West Indies and the USA for the T20 World Cup.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Per the latest report, Marsh could be part of both camps, keeping it light in the first one. Moreover, outside of the first squad, Xavier Bartlett and Spencer Johnson – two players who could travel as part of the reserves, will also be there.&nbsp;</p>

The all-rounder and the head coach Andrew McDonald had tested positive for the coronavirus a day before the start of the second Test at the Gabba. Apart from them, Travis Head was also tested for the virus but the results were negative for him.</p>

<p>“Cameron Green and Andrew McDonald will be separated from the group until they return a negative test. It will not hinder Green taking part in or McDonald attending the match in line with CA protocols,” Cricket Australia said in a statement, as quoted by Sydney Morning Herald.</p>

<h2><strong>Options open for McDonald and Co</strong></h2>

<p>"All options will be considered. And I said we're not going to make the decision until the deadline which will be the West Indies game," McDonald said after Australia’s win over Pakistan.</p>

<p>“Cameron Green, as a discussion around who are the best six batters, has definitely been in the conversation," said McDonald.</p>

<p>Australia will take on the West Indies after the Pakistan series is over and will need to find the missing piece in the puzzle to replace the retiring Warner. Interestingly, Green has an upper hand to make the Test squad having been part of the recent successes including the World Test Championship (WTC) triumph and the Ashes in England. He is also without a contract in the ongoing Big Bash League.</p>

<p>Marcus Harris, Cameron Bancroft and Renshaw are also part of the conversation having impressed in the domestic Sheffield Shield competitions. On the flip side, Bancroft and Renshaw have been on the verge of the first team in the past with impressive stints whenever called upon. Renshaw was part of the India tour in February and has been travelling with the squad which could help him boost his chances to cement a place in the Playing XI.</p>

One of those ways is definitely with all the all-rounders and potentially two quicks, and you've seen that side in the past 18 months being played, so there is a real possibility that both of those players can be in the same XI, and we haven't ruled that out," the head coach added.</p>

<h2>‘Maxwell pulled up really well’</h2>

The catch, which Green thought was clean, was adjudged the same by TV umpire as well but Gill and skipper Rohit Sharma along with a lot of former players had a different opinion about it.</p>

WTC Final: ‘It was clean...:’ Cameron Green on catch to dismiss Shubman Gill on day 4

<p>Indian spinner Ravindra Jadeja was the pick of the bowlers as he took three wickets in Australia's second innings, including a sensational bowled of Cameron Green. The Aussie allrounder had a troubled stay at the crease for his 25 runs before being outfoxed by Jadeja in leaving ball which landed onto stumps.</p>

<p>On the last ball of the 63rd over of Australia's second innings, Green decided to leave the ball which had landed outside leg but spun and bounced sharply to hit his pad before being ricocheted on the stumps, shattering the bails. <h2><strong>Starc and Carey take Australia past 400</strong></h2>

<p>Australia were 167/6 after Green's dismissal with a total lead of 340 runs and four wickets left with India looking ahead in the game for the first time since the start. Alex Carey and Mitchell Starc, however, added 93 runs for the seventh wicket to take Australia's lead past 400 before Starc was dismissed on 41.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Alex Carey remained not out, scoring a sensational 66 in the context of the match as Cummins declared Australia's innings at 270/8 with him being the eighth wicket. Australia, with the declaration, set India a record target of 444 runs to chase if they were to win to match.</p>

<h2><strong>Gill and Rohit go on rampage</strong></h2>

<p>India's second innings started with much flamboyance as Shubman Gill and skipper Rohit Sharma started in very positive fashion and added quick runs in the short session before tea. India had added 41 runs at almost six an over in seven overs before Gill was given out on a controversial catch by TV umpire on the first ball of the eighth over of the innings by Scott Boland.</p>

<p>Both Gill and Rohit were disbelief upon seeing the decision on the big screen but Gill had to walk back with and so did rest of the players as the umpires called tea on day 4.</p>

Probably starting (my innings) last year, I probably looked to defend a bit too much instead of just looking to score. <p>"A World Test Championship is obviously a massive moment, so I look forward to that. There is nothing like Test cricket when you’re kind of out in the middle. Obviously your nerves are running really high. I think the best players are the best ones that are able to handle that," said the big all-rounder.</p>

<p>After the one-off championship Test, Australia would next be facing England in the iconic five-Test Ashes series.</p>

<p>Cameron Green's maiden IPL hundred and a much-needed fifty from captain Rohit Sharma ensured an eight-wicket win for Mumbai Indians over SunRisers Hyderabad on Sunday.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Asked to bat first, SunRisers Hyderabad saw a new opening pair in Vivrant Sharma and returning batsman Mayank Agarwal taking strides. With nothing to lose, SRH's batters came all guns blazing against an inexperienced Mumbai bowling attack. The left-hand-right-hand combination did wonders for them as both stitched a maiden 100-run-plus stand and completed their respective fifties in the process.</p>

Rohit was dismissed in the 10th over after which Suryakumar Yadav (57 off 26) joined the party and almost helped Mumbai to a win. However, Suryakumar was dismissed in the 18th over which saw a major change in momentum.</p>

<p>With 16 to defend in the final over, Arshdeep Singh was the hero of the match for PBKS as he kept Tim David away from the strike. In extraordinary events, he dismissed Tilak Varma (3) and Nehal Wadhera (0) on back-to-back deliveries and broke the stump on both occasions.
