<p>Meanwhile, Green had missed three Tests earlier (two vs South Africa and one against India) after suffering a broken finger against Proteas at the MCG during the Boxing Day Test last year.</p>

<p>Though there wasn’t much of a gap between the second and the third Test, there is a nine-day gap between the third and the fourth, given the ongoing Test ends on day five, giving Green more time to regain fitness.</p>

<p>The fourth Test begins on July 19 at Old Trafford in Manchester.</p>

<p>Having last played a Test at the Kia Oval four years ago in 2019, returning with a five-for in that match, Mitchell Marsh returned to the Test side to fight for a place in the XI.</p>

<p>India batsman Shubman Gill was dismissed in a controversial fashion in the final innings of the World Test Championship (WTC) Final off Australia's Scott Boland. The ball, after Gill edged it, flew towards Cameron Green in slips area where the 6 feet 7 inch player&nbsp;plucked it in a sensational manner.</p>

<p>The decision, however, was referred to the third umpire, and after multiple reviews, the TV umpire gave Gill out. The batsman was clearly not happy with the decision and so was skipper Rohit Sharma who seemed very angry. Have a look at the catch here:</p>

WTC Final: Shubman Gill given out on controversial catch by Cameron Green - WATCH

<p>Australia all-rounder Cameron Green's catch to dismiss India batter Shubman Gill on day 4 of the World Test Championship (WTC) Final has created a lot of furore. The catch, which Green thought was clean, was adjudged the same by TV umpire as well but Gill and skipper Rohit Sharma along with a lot of former players had a different opinion about it.</p>

<p>Speaking about the catch after the day's play, Green said, "I definitely though I caught it." Shubman, however, 'facepalmed' the decision as he tweeted a picture of Green in the motion while catching the ball which is seen touching the ground.</p>

<p>Indian spinner Ravindra Jadeja was the pick of the bowlers as he took three wickets in Australia's second innings, including a sensational bowled of Cameron Green. The Aussie allrounder had a troubled stay at the crease for his 25 runs before being outfoxed by Jadeja in leaving ball which landed onto stumps.</p>

<p>On the last ball of the 63rd over of Australia's second innings, Green decided to leave the ball which had landed outside leg but spun and bounced sharply to hit his pad before being ricocheted on the stumps, shattering the bails. <p>Australia were 167/6 after Green's dismissal with a total lead of 340 runs and four wickets left with India looking ahead in the game for the first time since the start. Alex Carey and Mitchell Starc, however, added 93 runs for the seventh wicket to take Australia's lead past 400 before Starc was dismissed on 41.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Alex Carey remained not out, scoring a sensational 66 in the context of the match as Cummins declared Australia's innings at 270/8 with him being the eighth wicket. Australia, with the declaration, set India a record target of 444 runs to chase if they were to win to match.</p>

<p>"A World Test Championship is obviously a massive moment, so I look forward to that. There is nothing like Test cricket when you’re kind of out in the middle. Obviously your nerves are running really high. I think the best players are the best ones that are able to handle that," said the big all-rounder.</p>

<p>Asked to bat first, SunRisers Hyderabad saw a new opening pair in Vivrant Sharma and returning batsman Mayank Agarwal taking strides. With nothing to lose, SRH's batters came all guns blazing against an inexperienced Mumbai bowling attack. Rohit was dismissed in the 10th over after which Suryakumar Yadav (57 off 26) joined the party and almost helped Mumbai to a win. However, Suryakumar was dismissed in the 18th over which saw a major change in momentum.</p>

<p>With 16 to defend in the final over, Arshdeep Singh was the hero of the match for PBKS as he kept Tim David away from the strike. In extraordinary events, he dismissed Tilak Varma (3) and Nehal Wadhera (0) on back-to-back deliveries and broke the stump on both occasions. In the final over he only gave away two runs and guided PBKS to a famous win.</p>

The win saw Mumbai go on six points as they now look to mount a firm challenge for a playoff spot.</p>

<p>"Some of you might not know this, but Greeny (Cameron Green) and I actually went to the same school back in Australia. He was a few years younger than me, just a cheeky little bugger. He was not as tall as he is now and he just used to smack me everywhere, I had the side-arm throwing at him, I tried to bump him, but I just could not get him out. Very excited and proud of you mate," David said after playing a key role in MI’s win.</p>

During game 2 of the double header on Saturday at the iconic Wankhede Stadium, Jadeja grabbed the catch of the match off his own bowling, much to everyone’s surprise, including the umpire.</p>

<p>On the second ball of the ninth over, Green smashed one straight to Jadeja, only for him to grab it comfortably. The ball was hit so hard and quick, that even the umpire Chris Gaffaney reacted swifty and went down in fraction of seconds to avoid getting hit. Thanks to his luck, Jadeja, who was standing right in front of him, caught it.</p>

<p>Chopra feels the same. He added&nbsp;even though the pitch remained flat during most parts of the first two days, Khawaja’s ability to stand tall against a potent bowling attack that dismantled this Australian team in the first two Tests shouldn’t be discounted and instead be appreciated.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Usman Khawaja was simply brilliant for his 180. No matter how flat the pitch is, it's never easy to bat for so long as it requires a lot of concentration. <p>Following Peter Handscomb’s wicket on day one, pair of Khawaja and returning Cameron Green took the attack to the opposition, stitching a mammoth 208-run stand for the fifth wicket. While Khawaja scored 180 – becoming only the second Aussie opener in over 50 years to score 150 plus against India in India in Tests, his partner Green also completed his maiden hundred in this format.</p>
