Some are reluctant to join as the end of the world seems close. Instead, MCU takes a giant leap of faith and presents newer heroes who come with their own set of problems some of which are very complicated. It's no children play anymore for Marvel as Eternals are far more superior in might, power and intellect than the Avengers. Naturally, the adrenaline rush of watching Eternals takes a while to come when compared to previous superhero films from MCU. &nbsp;But that is a good thing.&nbsp;<br />
<br />
At 155 minutes, Eternals takes time to establish the plot and the thrill is only in the second half. That's when the real action begins. So you don't find yourself rooting for any superhero much. There is no obvious favourite either.&nbsp;</p>

Eternals also has many firsts for a Marvel film. It has Marvel's first sex scene, a gay kiss, a deaf and mute superhero, and even a South Asian superhero disguising as a Bollywood hero and even acknowledges mental health. Marvel takes the inclusivity conversation to an all-new level-it's of course not always accurate but hey, it's a start.&nbsp;</p>

'Eternals' is not your regular superhero film. You will often miss the Avengers (you have been warned) while watching. It doesn't have the glitz and glamour of Marvels most popular superheroes. Instead, MCU takes a giant leap of faith and presents newer heroes who come with their own set of problems some of which are very complicated. It's no children play anymore for Marvel as Eternals are far more superior in might, power and intellect than the Avengers. Naturally, the adrenaline rush of watching Eternals takes a while to come when compared to previous superhero films from MCU. But that is a good thing. At 155 minutes, Eternals takes time to establish the plot and the thrill is only in the second half. That's when the real action begins. So you don't find yourself rooting for any superhero much. There is no obvious favourite either. It makes you think. Eternals also has many firsts for a Marvel film. It has Marvel's first sex scene, a gay kiss, a deaf and mute superhero, and even a South Asian superhero disguising as a Bollywood hero and even acknowledges mental health. Marvel takes the inclusivity conversation to an all-new level-it's of course not always accurate but hey, it's a start. Eternals also often refers to the Avengers for relatability, even refers to rival DC hero Superman and Star Wars to create a wholesome film. Zhao also lets veterans Salma Hayek and Angelina Jolie take a back seat and lets newer talents like Madden, Chan, and Nanjiani take lead. Madden and Chan are credible in their roles and it would be interesting to watch their characters grow in the subsequent films. Kit Harington plays the most endearing character in the film and his character is the one to watch out for in the sequel. It takes time to grow on you and makes you think. With a non-linear narrative, it may pose as a tedious watch but 'Eternals' is far more superior in storytelling that what Marvel has ever attempted.

<p>Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie says she hopes to empower children around the world with tools to "fight back" for their rights with a book she has written with Amnesty International.<br />
<br />
'Know Your Rights&nbsp;and Claim Them'&nbsp;- written with human rights lawyer Geraldine Van Bueren, one of the original drafters of the 1989 UN Convention on the Rights of the Child - aims to equip kids with the knowledge to safely challenge injustices.<br />
<br />
"So many children are in harm`s way across the world and we`re simply not doing enough," Jolie told Reuters in an interview. "These are their rights, decided years ago based on what would make them healthy, balanced, safe and stable adults."<br />
<br />
Jolie, special envoy for UN refugee agency UNHCR, said she hoped the book would also remind governments of their commitment to the global treaty enshrining children`s civil, social, political and economic rights.<br />
<br />
"We spent a lot of time blocking those rights, so this book is to help the kids have a tool book to say `these are your rights, these are things you need to question to see how far you, depending on your country and circumstance, are from accessing those rights, what are your obstacles, others that came before you and fought, ways you can fight`. So it`s a handbook to fight back."<br />
<br />
The mother-of-six said she put up the U.N convention in her home for her children, but was surprised to learn her own country, the United States, has not ratified it.<br />

An appeals court ruling in California said Judge John Ouderkirk should have disclosed his previous professional relationships with attorneys representing Pitt in the couple`s protracted dispute over custody of their children.<br />
<br />
Jolie and Pitt, once one of Hollywood`s most glamorous couples, separated in September 2016 after a more than 10-year romance and two-year marriage. Jolie filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences.</p>

The judge is handling the child custody case in Pitt-Jolie's divorce case. Jolie has sought to disqualify Judge John Ouderkirk from the divorce case and stated in her filing on Monday that he declined to hear evidence she says is relevant to the children's safety and well-being before issuing a tentative ruling. The documents don't specify on what that evidence may be. Jolie has accused Pitt of domestic violence and had stated that their children would testify if there was a need for it. "Judge Ouderkirk denied Ms. Jolie a fair trial, improperly excluding her evidence relevant to the children's health, safety, and welfare, evidence critical to making her case," according to the filing in California's Second District Court of Appeal. The actress also said the judge "has failed to adequately consider" a section of the California courts code, which says it is detrimental to the best interest of the child if custody is awarded to a person with a history of domestic violence. Jolie sought divorce from Pitt in 2016, days after a disagreement broke out on private flight ferrying the actors and their children from France to Los Angeles. Pitt was accused of being abusive toward his then-15-year-old son during the flight. No charges were filed against the actor after investigations by child welfare officials and the FBI did not yield anything concrete against him. Jolie's lawyer had at that time said that she sought a divorce "for the health of the family." Pitt and Jolie have six children together of which four are teenagers with the oldest- Maddox being 19 year old. According to laws in California, children above 14 can testify in court if they wish to. In her new filing, Jolie states that judge has "refused to hear minor teenagers' input in relation to the case. Reacting to Jolie's filing, Pitt's lawyer stated, "Ouderkirk has conducted an extensive proceeding over the past six months in a thorough, fair manner and reached a tentative ruling and order after hearing from experts and percipient witnesses."
