For many Marvel fans, the end of 'Avengers' left a serious void. On Monday, Marvel unveiled its new lineup of superheroes in the first teaser of their much-talked-about film 'Eternals'.

The teaser gives a glimpse of the visual extravaganza that's in store for us with the introduction of new immortal set of heroes.&nbsp; 
 
A star-studded film directed by Oscar winning director Chloe Zhao, the teaser has the voiceover of Ajak played by Salman Hayek. Ajak is the leader of the Eternals who says that how for centuries they have observed and watched humans evolve and achieve great heights but it's now time to intervene.&nbsp; 
 
The teaser also shows Angelina Jolie playing a warrior called Thena and showing off her sword fighting skills.

Pakistani actor-comedian Kumail Nanjiani plays Kingo and performs an elaborate Bollywood dance number while Richard Madden and Gemma Chan play Ikaris and Sersi who solemnise&nbsp;their love in various ethnic styles.&nbsp; 
 
The teaser also gives a glimpse of Kit Harington, although it is not clear yet as to which character he plays and of Indian actor Harish Patel. The teaser also gives a reference to Avengers and who would take the legacy forward- slyly indicating the importance of Eternals in the phase 4 of MCU.&nbsp;

"It was so funny to be in hair and makeup and wiping yourself with pheromone," she told National Geographic. "We couldn't shower for three days before. Because they told me, 'If you have all these different scents, shampoos and perfumes and things, the bee doesn't know what you are.' [They] don't want [bees] to confuse you for a flower, I suppose." she said.

As movie theatres attempt to rebound from the COVID-19 pandemic, family films and CGI spectacles have been popular options to see on the big screen. Gritty dramas geared toward adult audiences haven't been performing as well, and mediocre reviews for 'Those Who Wish Me Dead'&nbsp;didn't help drum up interest.

The film played in 3,188 cinemas, a sizable footprint considering only 65% of movie theatres are currently open, according to Comscore. Taylor Sheridan directed 'Those Who Wish Me Dead',&nbsp;based on the novel by Michael Koryta. The story centres on a teenager who witnesses the murder of his father and goes on the run with a smokejumper (Jolie) to escape two gunmen trying to silence him. Variety's chief film critic Peter Debruge was a fan of the film, writing in his review: "The idea may be outrageous, but Sheridan`s commitment makes the whole thing work." Moviegoers gave the film a 'B' CinemaScore.

That`s a mediocre start given its $20 million production budget, but it`s enough to easily nab the No. 1 spot on box office charts in the coronavirus era. 
 
Paul Dergarabedian, a senior media analyst with Comscore, says the debut of 'Spiral'&nbsp;is 'solid' given the slow-to-recover box office. "We are still operating in a very limited marketplace," says Dergarabedian. He`s optimistic that things will pick up with releases of Paramount's 'A Quiet Place Part II' and Disney's 'Cruella'&nbsp;over Memorial Day weekend. 
 
'Saw' veteran Darren Lynn Bousman directed 'Spiral',&nbsp;which stars Chris Rock, Max Minghella and Samuel L. Jackson and follows police efforts to stop a Jigsaw copycat killer. It got mixed reviews, with Variety`s Owen Gleiberman saying for better or worse, the latest entry stays true to its graphic, stomach-churning roots. "No," Gleiberman wrote, "the 'Saw'&nbsp;series hasn`t really changed. So depending on whether you`re a fan or not, eat up...or throw up." 
 
Fans of dismemberment movies ate well this weekend. Zack Snyder's zombie movie 'Army of the Dead'&nbsp;also arrived on the big screen, one week before it becomes available on Netflix. Since the streaming service has a contentious relationship with cinema owners, the film only played in 430 locations, far fewer than its fellow new releases. Netflix, unlike traditional movie studios, doesn`t reveal box office data. However, rivals estimate that 'Army of the Dead'&nbsp;generated $800,000 over the weekend, enough to crack the top 10.

Elsewhere at the domestic box office, a series of holdovers rounded out charts. 'Wrath of Man',&nbsp;a heist thriller starring Jason Statham, slid to No. 2 in its second weekend of release, adding $3.7 million from 3,007 theatres. The MGM film has made $14.6 million in North America to date. 
 
At the international box office, where Miramax is distributing the movie, 'Wrath of Man'&nbsp;has grossed $41.4 million in total. It opened in Chinese theatres on Monday and made $7.1 million in its first three days of release, as well as another $8.7 million over the weekend, bringing its tally in China to $18.5 million.

Just watching each of them become uniquely who they are and being around them and going into each of their (space), whether it be their rooms and talking to them or developing or helping them develop. It's not as much me but my mom was like that, and loved seeing other people's creativity.”

At least 23 forces of the <a href="http://www.wionews.com/world/nobody-should-expect-turkey-to-provide-assurance-to-terror-organisation-turkey-on-kurdish-forces-189051">US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF)</a> were killed on Tuesday in a fight with the radical Islamist forces.

The SDF launched what is meant to be the final offensive on the jihadist organisation four months ago with air and ground support from coalition forces.

In a statement, Angelina said, “As of this week, over a billion children are out of school worldwide because of closures linked to coronavirus. Many children depend on the care and nutrition they receive during school hours, including nearly 22 million children in America who rely on food support. "I told him no, no, no, but he insisted," Haleyi told reporters in 2017, recalling that she was menstruating at the time of the alleged assault. 
 
The second alleged victim is anonymous. She says Weinstein, 67, raped her in a New York hotel room in March 2013. 
 
Weinstein's defense team have presented emails which they say show the woman had a consensual relationship with her alleged attacker for several years after the alleged attack.

Prosecutors will call "The Sopranos" actress Annabella Sciorra to testify. She helped trigger the #MeToo movement when she told The New Yorker magazine that Weinstein raped her at her Manhattan home over the winter of 1993-94.&nbsp; 
 
Weinstein cannot be charged with raping Sciorra, 59, because the statute of limitations has expired but she is key to prosecutors' attempts to convince the jury&nbsp;that he engaged in predatory sexual behavior.&nbsp; 
 
Three other alleged victims whose identity is unknown are also expected to take the stand. One says she was raped by Weinstein in Beverly Hills, California, in 2013.&nbsp;

"I have the ability to get away with a lot more in a courtroom cross-examining a female than a male lawyer does," she told Chicago Magazine in February 2018.

Women represented 56% of ticket buyers, about 50% of which were under the age of 25. 
 
'Maleficent: Mistress of Evil' marks the lowest opening weekend of the year for Disney and will now rely on the international box office to recoup its $185 million budget. The film had much more promising showing overseas, lifting off with $117 million for a global start of $150 million. And just like the film, Fanning said that her relationship with Jolie has changed now since she has entered her early twenties. "I'm older, and the things we can talk about now are different," Fanning told a magazine&nbsp;in this week's issue. 
 
"I feel like I can ask her anything and I have," the 21-year-old star added. Fanning noted that Jolie is someone who inspires her and added that the 44-year-old actor stands up for what she feels is right. 
 
"Watching her is so inspiring. As a person, she has such strength in her convictions. She really stands up for what she feels is right and will protect you at all costs. I've truly seen her nurturing and protective instincts. It's so beautiful," Fanning said, praising Jolie.

Jolie also shares mutual feelings about her friendship with Fanning. The actor opened up to People about the special place Fanning has in her life."The first moment she ever saw me, she was 14 and she ran up and gave me the biggest hug. Elle was the sweetest. Nothing about me intimidated her," Jolie recalled of their first meeting. 
 
"I'll always feel close to Elle. She knows I'm goofy. I know she has great strength," she added. The duo's bond is not limited to just working together.
