Barcelona's £107-million star signing Antoine Griezmann netted his first goal for the team in the final La Liga season tuneup on Saturday against Napoli.
Griezmann scored in the 56th minute after an impressive run by defender Jordi Alba. The Spaniard charged deep into the box, then flicked a pass to his right and Griezmann netted a left-footed tap-in.
Having opened his account for the Catalans, Griezmann looked pleased in a video shared by the Barca's Twitter handle after the match. He said, "I am very happy to score my first goal with this shirt."
"I hope it will be the first of many," added the French forward.
A crowd of 60,043 at 110,000-seat Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, Michigan, was treated to an exquisite passing display by Barcelona.
Suarez opened the scoring in the 48th minute and netted twice. Griezmann and the other French striker Ousmane Dembele scored one goal each to sink Napoli 4-0.
Earlier, Barcelona coach had said that Griezmann will have no problems linking up with strike partners Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez. "It's true that some players who are a good fit in together easier," Valverde had told media.
