Team India returned home Thursday morning to a grand welcome at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi. Rohit Sharma showed the T20 World Cup trophy to the crowds who were mesmerised at the sight of it. Team India has a packed schedule today and is due to take part in several engagements. Here is what Team India's schedule looks like today.
The team is in New Delhi for the first half of the day and has been put up at the ITC Maurya Hotel. Arrangements at the hotel include a special cake and welcome drinks. From there Indian team members will leave for 7, Race Course Road where they will Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The team is scheduled to later leave for Mumbai at around 4 pm. A grand victory parade has been planned for the team in Mumbai. The parade will head to Marine Drive and Wankhede Stadium. The open bus parade begins from the National Centre for Performing Arts in Nariman Point and heads to the Wankhede Stadium. A similar victory parade happened at the time when MS Dhoni led Team India to the T20 World Cup title in 2007.
BCCI secretary Jay Shah and Team India captain Rohit Sharma had earlier tweeted about the grand parade, inviting Indian fans to be a part of the historic moment.
