Who is Raj Kushwaha?&nbsp;The brother of Raja Raghuvanshi told the news agency ANI that Kushawaha was an employee of Sonam with whom she used to talk almost every day.&nbsp;"I had no idea about those 3-4 people till the time I did not know their names... Raj Kushwaha's name has come forward, which means Sonam can be involved in the murder... Raj Kushwaha was Sonam's employee. They would constantly talk on the phone," Raja’s brother, Vipul Raghuvanshi, told ANI.&nbsp;However, he refused to accept that Sonam was involved in the murder “unless and until” she confesses it.

They rented a scooty the following day and rode to popular tourist destination Sohra (Cherrapunji). Having arrived at Mawlakhiat village in East Khasi Hills, they left the scooty in a parking facility operated by the local community for tourists, and hired a local guide to trek to a homestay at Nongriat village in the same district.&nbsp;The guide who accompanied them on the trek from Mawlakhiat to Nongriat said it is almost three hours and includes going down about 3,000 steps.&nbsp;"The couple called us on May 22. It was late, around 3.30 pm, but I didn't refuse and agreed to guide them to Nongriat. After leaving them at Shipara Homestay, we left," the guide Bhakupar Wanshai said, while another guide, Albert Pde, also joined them.&nbsp;"We provided service for the following day (May 23), but they declined, mentioning that they know the route," Wanshai added.&nbsp;Wanshai in his police report said that Sonam did most of the negotiations with them in English. The couple and the two guides arrived at Shipara Homestay at Nongriat village at 5.30 pm, the homestay owner woman said.&nbsp;"Two guests visited here (Shipara Homestay) on May 22. They checked in and went off to view the living root bridges after they had locked the room. They came back after some time. It was already dark. We cooked food and served it to their room. It is important, it is very critical to reduce loss of lives and economic losses. The Sendai Framework was one of the target areas for loss of lives. Another focus is reducing economic losses. One needs stronger infrastructure. It is well known that in an earthquake, it is not the earthquake that kills people, it is the infrastructure collapse that kills people. It not only leads to loss of lives but impacts relief and rescue operations. The 2001 Bhuj earthquake saw hospitals collapse, surgical operations were conducted outside. Countries established field hospitals. Many countries are taking interest in CDRI, including developed countries. India has taken the initiative but it’s the collective effort of all countries that CDRI can make further progress. The CDRI can help developed countries, small island developing countries. In Geneva, we announced the African Union has joined CDRI. Several African countries are now part of CDRI. Sharma—who flew aboard the Soviet Soyuz T-11 in 1984—was asked if he would join India’s maiden manned space mission. He said, “Of course, absolutely. I'm a test pilot. I think I was born a bit too early. It's not going to happen in my time frame. But yes, I would have, " he was quoted saying to NDTV. The Gaganyaan mission, scheduled for launch between 2025 and 2026, is a landmark initiative under ISRO's human spaceflight project. It aims to send a three-member Indian crew into low-Earth orbit for up to three days aboard the GSLV Mk III, now known as the Human Rated Launch Vehicle Mark-3, from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. Sharma also shared his excitement over Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla’s upcoming Axiom-4 mission to the International Space Station, calling it “a sneak peek” at what India’s own Bharatiya Antariksh Station might look like in the future. "It will give us a flavour of flying a private resource which can take us to space. So it's going to be very interesting at many levels," Sharma said. "He's going to get a chance to do some experiments and also to live in the space station. It's a longish flight, 14 days I think. And so he's going to get a sense and I think those inputs which he observes in the International Space Station can be used for our own Bharatiya Antariksh Station," Sharma further added. Sending his best wishes to Group Captain Shukla, the retired Wing Commander reflected on the transformative nature of space travel. "Well, I tell Shubhanshu all the very best, happy landings and look forward to whatever you're going to see. You come back a changed person is what I'm going to tell him... I would say over the years, maybe not instantly, but over the years when you go over that experience, it brings in new insights as to what's happening to planet Earth. It gives you a sense of where you should be going, where space exploration should be going. So that it does change you," Wing Commander Sharma said.
